Forward, left always. In the early hours of Habitat Festival, FACE* delivered a groove techno set around 140 bpm, taking us on a wild ride from night to morning.

Hat dit Bock gemacht! Donnerstag Nacht, eigener Floor und jede menge Mega Fun. Nach ner Stunde bin ich von Hybrid auf Vinyl Only gegangen. Hab zwar das Rad nicht neu erfunden aber definitiv zum Laufen gebracht auch wenn es hier und da immer noch bisschen hakt.

PLAC und KWYN aka Radio Bizarre haben auch dieses Jahr wieder im Kornreaktor geglänzt. 
Mit ihrem unverwechselbaren Duo Sound haben sie die Nüsschen in Bewegung gebracht und den Dancefloor mit feinster Energie gefüllt.

Recorded using layering: mixer output + ambience recording for a more immersive experience.

Wie war dein Weg bisher?
Ich bin seit 2015 leidenschaftliche Raverin und habe schon immer ein besonderes Augenmerk auf die Künstler:innen hinter der Musik gelegt. Mich hat von Anfang an fasziniert, was DJs an den Decks erschaffen können. Irgendwann habe ich mir dann selbst Equipment für zuhause besorgt – und seitdem verbringe ich regelmäßig stundenlange Sessions damit, neue Sounds auszuprobieren.
Mein erster richtiger Auftritt war das Opening Set auf dem Hochzeitsrave sehr guter Freunde – ein unvergesslicher Moment. Danach kam die erste Podcast-Anfrage, und Set um Set habe ich zu meinem eigenen Sound gefunden. Angefangen habe ich mit klassischem Techno, inzwischen liebe ich die Fusion aus verschiedenen Subgenres von Techno und Psytrance und baue mir so meine eigenen kleinen Soundwelten. Am liebsten spiele ich auf kleineren, privaten Raves von Freund:innen, wo die Stimmung familiär und frei ist.

Was ist dir an einem Safespace wichtig?
Ein Safespace bedeutet für mich, dass jede Person sie selbst sein darf, ohne bewertet oder übergangen zu werden. Mir ist wichtig, dass wir aufmerksam miteinander umgehen, die Grenzen anderer respektieren und unsere eigenen klar benennen können.

Möchtest du gerne der Welt noch was sagen oder mitgeben?
Seid nett zueinander - du weißt nie welchen Sturm jemand gerade durchlebt.

Live at WITP?

A bit sloth-wise belated, here is my recording from this year's Burning Man festival in the beautiful, but harsh desert of Nevada. Luckily I got the chance to stay at the lovely Ibiza Camp, which turned out to be a nest of international musicians that I knew only through their music and projects. So a lot of exchange happened, new friendships grew and endless hours of great music were around us every day. Inspiring times... I got the chance to play several times at this crazy place, mostly spontaneous and super fun back to backs with friends that unfortunately weren’t recorded… dusty disco bubble memories that will never die. But on Saturday afternoon I stayed in the oriental DJ booth – with that incredible view out into the open desert, on passing art cars and weird costumes.
