Chris Isaak - Wicked Game (Sonny Alven Remix)

The latest release on 3rd Avenue finds the label showcasing the much anticipated debut album of Namatjira.
The Dutch producer has certainly found a home on the Belgian imprint. After making his first appearance in July of 2014, Namatjira has gone on to appear on the Sound Avenue offshoot over ten times.
Preceded by the recently released single 'Wergaia', the LP entitled 'Friends Without Benefits' contains nine brand new productions, which are sure to touch the hearts and minds of electronic music fans across the globe.

From the melancholic beginnings of 'I Did Not Cry', to the deep hypnotic grooves of 'Marimbas & Angels' and on through to the poignant closer 'Remedy', there's an interesting story which unfolds. It finds a producer at his creative peak, travelling though a diverse spectrum of sound. When an artist can convey his message on a deep emotional level there are lasting memories created and Namatjira has accomplished that and so much more with 'Friends Without Benefits'. It's a collection of music that takes you on a journey with exhilarating peaks like 'Mosquitoes Love To Play Hide and Seek', all the way down to the gloomy and compelling 'I Did Not Cry'.

Luke Santos and Marc De Koning both appearing the first time on Stellar Fountain roster. The duo has been working together since 2014 in the studio, their recent, breakthrough track called 'Numinous' has already rocked the clubs and charts thanks to the help of Hernan Catteneo, Dimitri & Oliver Weiter. The slow evolving progressive piece operates with a hint of tech taste and shiny southern vibe got into the hands of respected remixers like Namatjira, Marcelo Paladini and George Yammine. All the guys has transformed the main track's message into their own language of sound, but kept the nature of the production: deep and driving.

Following the massive release from label boss dPen and studio partner Kosmas Epsilon and their “Winter is Coming “EP ,The Last Of Us Music returns for its 9th release with a producer that has established himself as one of the most distinguished and sophisticated artists of various genres.

Namatjira is a constant favourite of Hernan Cattaneo,Nick Warren and Guy J among others and there is a good reason for that. Controversial and innovative music and various styles of electronic music going from progressive house and deep house and even hover above electronica, downtempo and ambient.

Namatjira this time delivers yet again another multi-sided act of pure harmony and bliss through his 4 track release.

From the emotional and vocal themed “Nerrina”,to “Los Suenos” and the progressive house heritage it surpasses , Namatjira fails at no point to express himself through harmonious synths, pads and luscious basslines.
“Boomerang Bay” as already featured and spinned by Hernan Cattaneo in his Resident Show and his sets, is a track that sets up the mood with its massive groove and well sculpted sounds. Last track is “Lutzenbohr” and is yet again a key track in the whole EP as it is a mixture of the main elements found in every other track of the release and still remain a headliner on its own.

The 9th release of The Last Of Us is a chapter on its own for what the label stands for in the progressive house and electronic music in general and Namatjira is there to declare our joined passion for quality, innovative progressive house music. It is great to have artists like him onboard and blessed with the love and support the label and our artists get so far.

Namatjira - Nerrina

Manual Music kicks off 2017 with something truly special. Nearly a decade after it's initial release on Deep Focus, 'Been Here Before' by Guy J gets a remix treatment by Namatjira. These are not just a couple of new remixes, but these were born out of the idea to create an ode to Jerry van Schie, co-label owner of Deep Records and Deep Focus, and driving force behind the Groovecollection brand who passed away in 2016 after losing his fight to cancer.

In the words of Namatjira: 'After the funeral of Jerry I was thinking I wanted to do something musical to honor Jerry with. It took me a few to know what I wanted. When I opened the old Deep (Jerry & Peter's label) catalogue there was immediately one track that caught my attention, 'Been Here Before' by Guy J. I contacted Peter to see if he was willing to share the parts with me and he agreed immediately with me. 

I started working on the track and made two versions. I told Guy the story and let him listen to the sketches I had made and together we made a final choice. Then I finished the instrumental and contacted Ben "Royal Sapien" Mautner if he wanted to give the vocal parts his touch to make it work with my instrumental. 

When we both were satisfied the first big bump I had to take was to talk to Jerry's brother and hoped he would feel the remix. He defenilty felt it and contacted Jerry's wife. Later that week I had her on the phone and she told me she cried during the complete song, I had goosebumps all over my body and a lump in my throat.'

All proceeds for this release will go to Jerry's wife to donate to whatever charity cause she feels appropriate.

Boarder that separates progressive and deep house is perfectly presented with this release. Jelly For The Babies is back with 'Orionis' original. Melodic, deep and progressive as we used to hear when it comes to Jelly. Release also includes two remixes, who perfectly follow this original synchronizing EP to one full melodic treatment. For the first time on the label we can hear, world class progressive producer, Namatjira, as well as Dorfler, who is slowly but surely taking big part on the electronic dance scene!

We see familiar label artists such as Qbical, Paul Hazendonk, Dustin Nantais, Max Cue and Acud, artists that have already made an appearance on the MNL sister label such as Kamilo Sanclemente, Namatjira, Antrim, Space Motion, Sounom & Sagou and Ming, complemented with a couple of very talented newcomers and artists that have already made name for theirselves elsewhere but make their debut within the Manual family.
