London based record label Khoinix releases their first dark disco various compilation ''Tartarus''on January 1st 2022. 
The various artists compilation features artists like Alpha Sect, Arrosa, Attendances, CSK, Disco Morato, Disco Mortale, Facets, Gegen Mann, Ian Lapa, Itako, Ivan de la Rouch & Mike Sacchetti, K-Effect, Ruksby, Tulioxi and Ubre Blanca. 
In Greek mythology, Tartarus (Ancient Greek: Τάρταρος) is the deep abyss that is used as a dungeon of torment and suffering for the wicked.

Optimo Trax is an offshoot label of Optimo Music for tracks aimed at DJs/dancefloors. Yes, we know there are too many record labels already, but we felt an overriding desire to start another one as so much music that didn't seem quite right for Optimo Music (i.e. music that was specifically designed for dancing) kept coming our way. Like the parent label, Optimo Trax will release music by new artists and excavate forgotten classics.

The next two Optimo Trax releases are from Milan. This first one is four HOT tracks from two self-effacing Milanese maestros. "Acido" is already shaping up to be a club classic and never fails to cause a commotion; it has been thoroughly road tested throughout summer 2013. The other tracks cover all idiosyncratic bases from high grade Sleaze Funk to Spaghetti Western-infused, low-slung house.

We are pleased to present our 45th release, this time by Italian producer Treasure Island. The EP includes three original tracks that transport listeners on an astral journey, blending influences of minimal, trance, and dark sounds. Complementing these tracks are two unique remixes: one by the duo Panka Panka, who add their signature raw, acid-infused style, and another by Mexican producer Tkuz, who contributes deep basslines and powerful beats, taking this journey to an even greater depth. In addition to releases on various labels, Treasure Island is a resident DJ at Circle Saints parties and collaborates with Oltrefuturo on two innovative projects: Future Island and Eurospeed. This new release invites listeners to connect in a unique way through music and marks a milestone in Treasure Island’s career, solidifying his role as a distinctive figure in crafting transformative soundscapes.

Clubland is filled with duos, sometimes they grew up sharing bunk beds, sometimes they met on a dancefloor, or sometimes -as with Lord Fascinator & Kate Stein- they met on a tropical island after one had commissioned the other to create several giant monsters for a music video. 

Fast forward through ten years of costumes, chemicals, religious art projects and "Mad Max yoga retreats", they have finally cemented their relationship in the studio with their Primary EP, 4 tracks of psychedelic synth-pop, cowboy disco and cosmically inclined iridescent electronica.   

First up is country touched club banger Horse House, a track that combines a galloping hypnotic house beat and pulsating synths with all manner of Morricone'esque whistles, lonesome guitar twangs, equine snorts and, of course, the repeated chant that "there's a horse in this house". 

The track may have started life as a joke but its effect on dancefloors has been anything but and Horse House joins the select ranks of other fine western themed classics that have curiously littered the history of club music.

Exclusive Cowboy Rhythmbox - 6AM Cowboy (Cowboy Rhythmbox Deviation Variation)

British “outsider-electronic duo“ Cowboy Rhythmbox return to Erol Alkan's Phantasy Sound with a  none-existing musical approach up to date from the cowboys Nathan Gregory Wilkins and Richard X themselves. As Detroit producer Sharif Laffrey took on remix duties for CR's 6AM Nathan and Richard remixed the remix of the track, expressing their appreciation of Sharif's work. The result of the remix remix, simply called Deviation Variation, falls into the category creative remarkableness. A lush yet bouncey bass line is equipped with sharp reverbing chords and blurry synths while partly implemented filter hi-hat rides and mono-alternating vocal-snippets are swaying from left to right. The remix reaches musical exellence once the disorted and echoing chord sequence makes its appearance adding a warm vitalness to the wild west Detroit-shooting.

Cowboy Rhythmbox's EP 6AM Cowboy is released on Phantasy Sound on April 10th, 2020.
