Trip from 105 to 112 bpms... travelling around some different genres with tracks I love at their normal tempo too but that definetely created some magic moments at lower latitudes :)

I have to say I was a bit intimidated playing the peaktime slot from 4-6AM at Acidbogen. So I worked super hard to get some new and dancy material into the set and well…damn I am still overwhelmed how well this performance was received 🔥🥵 Couldn’t imagine a better feedback from the dance floor 🙌🙌

One of the new tracks I recorded with @toshi.vocalist this May in the @flamesstudios in Johannesburg during the @africarising music. I’m super excited that “Izinto“ one will be out via @weareparadiseworldwide this Thursday, 03. November 🇿🇦🎤

Mein lieber Freund Elias Goldmund hat mich zur Musik, also zum Auflegen motiviert und mir alles näher gebraucht und er und Jacob Theile von Mystic Tales stehen mir seither immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Ebenso wie Maxima und mein gesamtes Kollektiv WUMANAS, in welchem wir uns gezielt als Frauen in kreativen Berufen austauschen, unterstützen, cokreieren, und für Frauenrechte einsetzen.

i went to afrika burn in april and it was the most intensive time i've ever had.

came there with 10 friends and left with 100. 
lost and found myself at the same time.
danced under the sun & stars until i could not walk anymore.
burned my ego in a temple in the middle of nowhere. 
played 5 sets in 1 week (but only managed to record 3 of them).


this set is one of them. it was played at the boomicorn mutant vehicle on friday night at the playa. 
right before i started my set, a young boy climbed up the stage. he was dressed as an unicorn. his mother told me that he'd love to be a dj when he's older. i decided to let him press the play button and so we did a mini transition together :)) i'll never forget his smile <3 carissa, if you're reading this - pls keep me updated about your son's career :) he's got the moves!

like always: this set is not perfect - and so am i.
