I am very proud to present "NUTS" and one his live-acts recorded a few weeks ago at Perlone in NIce. 

Born in Nice, France in 1995, Nuts draws its influences from the crossroads between 90’s Hip-Hop, G-Funk, and House music. At 16, he started producing on Ableton Live. He then discovered free parties and dub sessions, which gave him a taste for live sets and sound systems. Since thenlearned to play different
instruments (guitar, bass, derbuka, talkbox...) to improve his music. Since then, he has developed a style focused on sampling,
jerky rhythms, deep funky basslines, and fanciful hip hop vocals. His sets will take you in a 64’ Impala, traveling through
Old School block parties with your friends under the hot sun of his eclectic and colorful world.

Originally from Bordeaux, FATAN relocated to Paris at 18, driven by a deep passion for electronic music. During his time in the capital, he met artists who shared his vision, leading to the co-founding of the Avalanche collective and the MIMO festival. FATAN's musical style moves fluidly between electro, house, and Italo, characterized by his love for rhythm, percussive elements, and hypnotic sounds.

What sets FATAN apart is his ability to craft rhythmic, melancholic tracks that take listeners on an emotional journey through his sets. Whether performing solo or as part of an 8-hand set with Avalanche, FATAN’s performances are intense and deeply moving, guaranteed to ignite any dancefloor.

Part 2 of ‘La Decima’ Compilation to celebrate the 10 years of Refuge begins with Melbourne kings, Ben Silver & Boogs who are most known for their longstanding residencies at Revolver. They collaborate on a driving house number taking inspiration from Detroit & Chicago. Next up, Jason Hodges & Joey Coco’s jam, Valentino finds its place on the black gold with its groovy feel and amazing vocals by Emerson Alexander. The B side kicks off Elijah Something offers up a groovy drum weapon with Skippy Disco Track. To round out the series is Ritmiq, remixing his own record, Historia with a rolly acid dub tool that is built for those late night sets. Get familiar, familia.

With their debut EP Brotherhood, the duo Blue Vision makes a strong entrance. At the crossroads of genres, they offer a palette of emotions as varied as the color itself: sometimes melancholic, sometimes cold, sometimes warm. Their sound blends textures from the '80s and 2000s with a sound design that feels undeniably modern.

Brotherhood opens the self-titled EP. Driven by a tight bassline and crisp electro percussion, the track carries clear new wave influences straight from the ’80s. Melancholic vocals and atmospheric pads pull us into a nostalgic mood, like a Blue Monday, so to speak.

With a bouncier groove, Human Experience brings a bassline that lingers long after the track ends. A few mysterious notes and a robotic voice pull us into a wave of emotion. Sitting somewhere between Electro and Italo-Disco, it’s a nostalgic trip that’s sure to get people moving.

Then comes Eivissa, a true tribute to the golden days of 2000s electro house and underground Ibiza parties. It’s the most energetic cut on the EP, the kind of track you can picture playing in a club as the sun comes up. Bright, euphoric and built for dancing, it would have fit right in during those unforgettable Ibiza mornings.

Closing the EP on a more introspective note, Post Operation feels like slowly waking from a dream. Club-ready percussion and a powerful kick contrast beautifully with spacious, melodic pads. It’s a delicate balance of softness and lightness, a thoughtful way to end the journey.
