An ancient supercomputer emerges from a desert in the middle of the night.
It commences playback of worshipers centuries old who sing of its wonder, and lifetimes full of love and war from countless extinct civilizations.

Retrograde

You're spending another Saturday night alone, watching reruns of Airwolf when you hear a loud crash outside your window.

You get up to open the blinds but find nothing out of the ordinary. 

As you turn around, two alien beings are sitting on your couch, but before you can say anything one of them changes the channel on your tv.

“Hey, I was watching that!” you exclaim, but they pay no attention.

You look at the television and see yourself on the screen, sitting on your couch watching reruns of Airwolf.

One of the aliens murmured, “Pretty neat, huh. Do you like magic tricks?”

“Yeah, I guess so.” you hesitantly reply.

“Pick a card, any card.”

You draw a card from the deck and see that it’s a four of clubs.

The alien hands you a pen and you sign your name in the center.

Without showing the face, you insert the card back into deck and watch as it gives them a few shuffles.

The alien asks if you want to cut the deck, you say no.

The other being waves its hand over the cards in a dramatic manner and pulls out a jack of diamonds.

“Is this your card?”

You try to say no, but start to feel as if you’re going to throw up.

As you run toward the bathroom you become extremely confused by the layout of your own home.

Hallways you never new existed begin to appear, and you can’t distinguish one room from the next.

Finally, you collapse from the stress and vomit spills out of your mouth and nose until there’s nothing left.

Almost nothing.

You feel something solid stuck in the back of your throat. You try your best to cough it up but it just won’t budge.

One of the aliens firmly smacks the back of your neck, dislodging a folded card as you catch it in your hands.

You unfold the card to reveal a four of clubs, with your signature on it.

As you look up, you find yourself alone on your couch, watching reruns of Airwolf.

He Wants To Take You Out Tonight

I've written many poems/lyrics and have made many electronic songs, beats, etc.. but this is the first time I've actually put a song and lyrics together in a recording. The song is about taking advice from the river.

Lyrics:

V1:

The sun emits a beam.
It's shining on the stream.
Meanwhile the flair of all the air
delivers shimmers to the scene.

And yet the water never thinks about 
the land in which it swims.
About whether it's surroundings 
are of beauty or are grim.

It doesn't care about the shimmers 
or the colors in the sky
and never feels a need for more or less
in order to get by.

And so, the water near the floor will never 
seek the heat and light,
meanwhile the water on the surface 
doesn't fear the fall of night. ('Cause all is right)

V2:

The water flows around 
all the ground and debris,
never troubling about 
being where it cannot be.

Nothing stands in its way 
because its way is where it stands,
whether stuck between the rocks 
or adrift above the lands. (x2)

V3:

Moving along,
it's never looking behind,
nor does it ever consider
the path that it will surely find.

Never showing a need
for another time and place.
It only dwells in the now,
in alliance with the pace.

With a grip on the "when",
you'll be absorbed in what may come.
And in dwelling on "then",
you'll be consumed with what's been done.

The past is a sham
and the future's a delusion.
If you're never in the moment,
then your life is an illusion.
