A couple of years after his first foray into the vinyl format, Barcelona based Rafael Espinosa aka Geistform delivers his second vinyl 12”/digital for HANDS: Four tracks, three new, one remix from the 2016 “Transmitter” album. Analogue, repetitive, saturated with hiss and feedback – and driven home by firm kicks, this bridges the gap between Geistform’s industrial home base and the techno community, which keeps devouring these darker, more radical sounds. Bound to cause a nuclear fission on the dance floor, this 4-track release complies with latest state of the art techno science!  
A limited Edition of 200 copies includes a hand-numbered art print on heavy carton and is exclusively available at HANDS.

In the deep, dark forests and in the lush green valleys, worshippers of Dionysus celebrated the eternal cycles of death and rebirth, symbolised in the sacred mask of the wild god. Drunk and intoxicated, wearing the mask of Dionysus, the actor is at once the shaman and the priest. Channeling the presence of the fearsome divinity, he drinks the sacred wine and eats the raw flesh of his prey. In this eternal moment, he becomes one with the god and the beast residing inside of him. Within Ancient Greek culture, the sacred rites of Dionysus have been appropriated and transformed into theatre performances. The shaman became the actor, the participants became the audience, the sacred altar became the stage. From myth as a ritual performance emerged the theatre of tragedy, in which the undying spirit of Dionysus, majestic and terrifying, speaks to us even today.

Diego Díaz A.K.A. Delectro is a sound producer, live performer and dj from Bogota, Colombia, influenced by the 80`s electronic sounds, the EBM bass lines and the power of Techno and Electro.

In 2006 he started producing his deep, dark and powerful sound, mixing heavy basslines, bizarre voices and dark atmospheres with his own style, becoming well known as one of the most representative EBM, Techno Electro artists inSouth America.

Delectro has shared the stage with artists such as Alec Empire (Atari Teenage Riot) Vitalic, The Horrorist, Thomas P. Heckmann, Sarin, Manu Le Malin, Sturm Cafe, Fiedel, Developer, Al Ferox, Equitant and more.

The 15th edition of our FUSE series comes courtesy of Diffuse Reality Records founder; Rodrigo Garcia aka Squaric. Hailing from Argentina, Diffuse Reality has cemented it's status as one of the most notorious electronic labels in the Barcelona underground scene and has now spread far and wide across Europe and the rest of the World. Their artist roster speaks for itself with an extensive list of heavyweights that include Anetha, Assembler Code, Aux 88, Carl Finlow, Dez Williams, Drvg Cvltvre, Endlec, Jeroen Liebregts aka Radial, JoeFarr, Marcel Dettmann, Orlando Voorn, Pfirter, Plant43, Stanislav Tolkachev, Sunil Sharpe, The Exaltics, Terence Fixmer, Truss, and many more.

Squaric (Rodrigo) alone has built a legendary reputation for himself and no one deserves this more. After our co-founder Kodah was booked to play at a Diffuse Reality night in Barcelona in 2018, we soon after arranged a memorable collaborative event with Diffuse Reality at Five Miles, London, which saw some of the most prolific artists on the label roster on the lineup, including Marcelus (Tresor), J. Tijn, Luke Eargoggle and Squaric himself. Diffuse reality returned to London for a showcase at The Cause in March 2019 and by this point we were well acquainted with Rodrigo and fully understood his unquestionable passion and commitment for his label and the scene in general. As well as running his label, in which he regularly self-releases formidable Electronic Music, Rodrigo somehow still makes time to host the infamous weekly 24-hour Diffuse Reality raves in Barcelona. As well as this, frequent touring is arranged around Europe and the rest of the World, even as far as Asia in recent times. There is no stopping the raging force that is Diffuse Reality Records. 

We hope you enjoy his relentless, high-energy FUSE set, which showcases a unique quality that is true to the consistent Diffuse Reality style.

Archaic Print estrenó el pasado año su catálogo con una primera entrega en la cual el sello ya desveló parte de sus intereses artísticos con una apuesta por las diversas interpretaciones que pueda tener un género tan holgado como es el techno, y siempre, dentro de un contexto en el que premia ante todo la coherencia y la originalidad. 

Esta libertad para ejecutar y desarrollar diferentes escenarios, y que a la  vez puedan convivir y armonizar, se une a la prioridad que la  plataforma otorga al formato físico, al disco vinilo.

Mike Humphries toma el relevo a Stanislav Tolkachev, a The Transhumans y a Dan Böhler, artífices de la primera referencia de Archaic Print. No obstante, a diferencia de este primer lanzamiento, Humphries es el único autor de las cuatro pistas de este EP y por lo tanto, a él le debemos la  pluralidad musical de esta segunda entrega.

Con In Between Reality, Mike Humphries da una gran ejemplo de bagaje y de la gran labor creativa que le ha acompañado durante estas 3 décadas.
Este disco exhibe una retrospección sonora que puede situar al
oyente en distintas ubicaciones y épocas. El espacio-tiempo se sitúa en cuatro puntos distintos.
9 Lives es el primer corte del EP y solo en los primero compases podemos anticipar un sonido memorable que evoca a la clandestinidad de las primeras raves europeas. Silver Shadows es una pista con patrones y propiedades que recuerdan mucho a la primeriza etapa de Mike Humphries como D-Kontrol, alias con el que operó durante los primeros añosde los 90 y que solía tener siempre un trasfondo ácido. Con Freefall intensifica el temperamento del acid, aunque su naturaleza nos ubica en un período más adelantado, más moderno, en el que este tipo de sonido tomaba otros matices diferentes. In Between Reality ya nos transporta a otra secuencia del espacio-tiempo más avanzada, con un estilo que fluctúa entre el techno, el minimalismo y la profundidad armónica. "

Archaic Print released its catalog last year with a first installment in which the label already revealed part of its artistic interests with a commitment to the various interpretations that a genre as loose as techno can have, and always, within a context in which it rewards coherence and originality above all else.
This freedom to execute and develop different scenarios, and that at the same time they can coexist and harmonize, joins the priority that the platform gives to the physical format, to the vinyl record.
Mike Humphries takes over from Stanislav Tolkachev, The Transhumans and Dan Böhler, creators of the first Archaic Print reference.

However, unlike this first release, Humphries is the sole author of the four tracks of this EP and therefore, we owe him the musical plurality of this second installment.
With In Between Reality, Mike Humphries gives a great example of baggage and the great creative work that has accompanied him during these 3 decades.
This album exhibits a sound retrospection that can place the
listener in different locations and times. Space-time is situated at four different points.

9 Lives is the first track on the EP and only in the first bars can we anticipate a memorable sound that evokes the secrecy of early European raves. Silver Shadows is a track with patterns and properties that are very reminiscent of Mike Humphries 'early days as D-Kontrol, an alias he traded with during the early' 90s and which used to always have an acid undertone. With Freefall he intensifies the temperament of acid, although its nature places us in a more advanced, more modern period, in which this type of sound took on other different nuances. In Between Reality already transports us to another more advanced space-time sequence, with a style that fluctuates between techno, minimalism and harmonic depth. "
