Asylum celebrates 4 years of crazyness and quality music with Danny Howells. This is Danny's first time dropping in on Hawaii!

Danny's been around for bloody ages .. a bit too long actually, although he still has his own hair, albeit slowly greying, and can still squeeze into his favourite 32 inch waist flares on a good day.

He plays other people's records all over the place (and occasionally some of his own), sometimes he does it well, other times not so well, but he tries his absolute best and always has the best time in the world and encourages you to join him, cheers!

He has a record label called Dig Deeper which is fabulous, has done lots of compilations and is generally pretty damn ace.

He's not one of those DJs who wins awards or anything that's worth boasting about here, but don't let that put you off.

His favourite TV show is Coronation Street closely followed by Eastenders and he's currently on the lookout for someone to write a decent biography for him.

Keith Meldrum's has just dropped his first full length LP he has been crafting the sounds and visions for around seven years and contemplating the sounds and textures that would soon follow this release. The story begins when he was getting clean for the first time. A wave of clarity hit over him during the time and led him into spiritual grace leading to freely expressing himself without the hindrance of intoxication. So during this time his dreams were sprawling in his subconscious, waiting to be manifested on the surface. After his music making sessions, he would go on a long walk during the fall with his dog to relieve some of the stress from the withdrawals of his early past, and then proceed he to make music until he reached the end theme for that chapter.

Took the last few days to piece back together the set from The Brooklyn Mirage recently, opening for Sasha and Digweed for what ended up being a Twilo reunion on so many levels, with much of the old crew from those days in the late 90s making the trek for what was a special show from start to finish.  The somewhat older, more diverse crowd came early and stayed until closing, with top notch production from the Avant Gardner/Brooklyn Mirage, incredible KV2 sound and just smiles all around throughout the night.  Many thanks to all those involved and to those that considered myself at the top of the list for warming up the night.
