A music I composed as an ode to Faroe Islands areas, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did ! 🏔️

This track was composed in response to a challenge issued by The Crow Hill Company to create a track using all of the 6 Vaults beta instruments they have created and released over the last 6 months or so. An additional part of the challenge was that each entrant was randomly given a particular key to compose their track in. I was given key of "A". The time limit for completion was one week. 

The Vaults instruments are given away free by the Crow Hill Company. If you are interested, go to their web page and sign up. They are definitely worth having. There are likely to be more in the future too.

Quick Demo of using only the Kawai K5, and the Yamaha Rx17 rhythm programer. Recorded in Ableton utilizing their stock plugins as well as some plugins by Waves.

All synth sounds are from the 1987 Kawai K5

"Kawai K5 and Kawai K5m are Digital Multi-Dimensional Synthesizers working based on fourier synthesis Additive Sound Synthesis , that gives nearly infinite freedom in creating sounds. Using realtime Additive Synthesis, each sound of the Kawai K5 can consist of up to 126 harmonic sine waves. This simple but powerful technique, makes it possible to create complex waveforms for new and unique sounds or even recreate waveforms similar to natural sounds." -www.kfuenf.org
