As previous years we're celebrating the Winter Solstice with a mix. And this time it's personal. 

We travel back in time to the year of 2017 and in the aftermath of making a festival in the forests of Sweden. A friend in the crew played these incredibly well-crafted mixtapes on Soundcloud which ended up on ones hard drive to be played over and over in the years to come. Some time later this dj showed up on the Campfire Stories by Silent Season and once again we were in awe of the mood and setting created. When we finally set up our own podcast of Navigare Audio in 2020 and scouted for artists willing to contribute it was inevitable to contact the author of all these amazing musical stories played and little did we know what this would bring. 

So what could be more proper to have Vincent Campfens aka Vinsen to be the first of to re-appear with a chapter on our podcast 28 episodes later. We're grateful for the music and the friendship, connection and love that has come with it.

Velvia is a music lover, vinyl collector & film photographer based in Paris. He is focused on deep techno, downtempo, ambient and other hybrid genres. He tries to build deep, melancholic & hypnotic journeys, the objective being to bring emotions.

For our fourteenth installement we've invited Noah Lyas, an artist passionate about making refined ceramics and composing deep atmospheric rhythms.

Malii grew up in a house where music was always on because of two passionate parents who shared a large record collection with their children. With a father as a musician, early contact with different instruments was made as well as performing arts.

Later in life, around the age of twenty, after many dances in night clubs with friends, Malii started to make his own music focussing on soft percussive rhythms and lush atmospheres, finding inspiration in different kinds of music and sometimes movies.

The first two releases, “Before the Horizon” and “Obsidian”, were the starting point of Noah Lyas, his pseudonym, and the beginning of his record label called “Profundo Collective”.

ILAY, an 18-year-old sound artist behind the alias ILAYRUNI (@ilayruni), works at the crossroads of electronic music and percussive instruments. Merging these two worlds, he explores the possibility of rhythm and sound. Growing up in a family that had a strong bond with the electronic music scene, ILAY had access to a wide range of styles and sounds, giving him the chance to wander and discover all types of frequencies and feelings. Traveling through a wide range of styles during his sets and productions, he seeks highly percussive rhythmic patterns that merge with synthesizers and give place to deep soundscapes.

We were greatly enchanted to listen to Claudio PRC and Ness’ new exclusive mix for SMOKE MACHINE; this unique recording was carefully mixed & edited to its essence aka “The Lost Tape”! We must say that this is an absolute gem shines out!

It contains a light yet calm rhythm throughout the whole mix, and was almost like leading the ears and mind to somewhere mysterious; or yet was following the vibe along a long corridor to a hidden wonderland?
