Aigua is the brand new concept of DJ, producer and all round musical genius Javier Ferrer. Hailing from Ibiza, Javier grew up in the epicentre of electronic music and indeed was surrounded by music in all its forms from a very early age. His father was a member of a rock band, playing both the piano and guitar as well as singing in the group – and this spurned Javi to also try his hand at both playing and writing music. At just 15 years old, Javier was the lucky recipient of his first mixer and set of decks, and within just a few years he´d learnt the art of DJing and had begun to write his own music. Javi´s first purchase at 17 years old was a Roland 303 on which he learnt to sequence and from there he spent literally all his free time in his home based studio. When Cubase released their first plugin compatible program back in 1998 – Javi was first in line to add to his growing studio armoury. In fact this self taught musician has always been at the forefront of music when it comes to technology, and in 2001 when Ableton launched – he again was quick off the mark to purchase and train himself in what was to be his main tool of music going forward all the way until this very day. He picked up several qualifications on the way – becoming one of only 200 Ableton certified trainers in the world and also being part of the Ibiza Music Academy as a tutor himself in more recent years.

Nazca Records was created to collect the music that Viracochas (beings of other worlds), shared with the ancient Nazca people, known for their love for music, dance and nature. 

These recordings represent the music that was once played in another time and that will be played again in the future…They are the memories of the future.

SHORT BIO

Born in Iran and a citizen of Denmark since the early ’80s, Nima Gorji is based in Ibiza from where he continues to influence the international electronic music scene with his distinct style and vision. His career spans more than 30 years, having a beautiful beginning in Copenhagen’s club scene around the time when the modern house and techno music were taking shape, capturing people’s attention more and more. In 1995 he began a residency at the iconic Club, now remembered as one of the most known underground clubs in Copenhagen, where he played alongside numerous renowned DJs, slowly building on his name. His relocation to Spain brought him extended collaborations with Ibiza Underground, Monza, FUSE, Pyramid, Zoo project and Next Wave while in 2010 he was awarded “Best Ibiza Resident DJ”.
In 1999 Nima Gorji founded Welt Recordings alongside partner, followed by NG Trax and Need For Sound alongside his partner, relentlessly following his passion for electronic music by releasing numerous personal works as well as promoting other artists. His rich discography also includes materials published through labels like SCI+TEC, Deeperfect, Fuse London, Bondage Music, Out Of Orbit, Love Letters From Oslo, Indigo Raw, Cocoon Compilation , Murmur, Bla Bla Records, ÉTÉ, BodyParts and Melodeum, while others have been dispatched through Bandcamp
