On November 3, 2021 Professor David Deavel (University of St. Thomas) discussed the thought and example of the Russian novelist, philosopher, and political dissident, Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn.

Debates about patriotism and nationalism have lately arisen in relation to a number of social issues, including mass migration, economic justice, and political identity. American Christians on both sides of these issues find themselves wrestling with how to balance love for home and place and the legacies of American injustice with love for neighbor, which is universal in scope.
