Sonia, the gifted singer on this cover has left this world on August the 14th 2016. She was afraid of singing not good enough to Alphio's and my track. But I have to say, I myself was afraid of playing not good enough to support her fascinating voice well. She was a unique warmhearted person and she will greatly be missed.

Loved this tune since it came out in 1983!. Was a great honor being asked by Alphio to play the guitar on this collab. Was a great pleasure working with Sonia, who gives this a very nice flavour with her voice and Alphio, who did a fantastic job with the instrumentation. Thank you very much, Sonia and Alphio!!! Great job on the instruments, Alphio!!! I think the track became a very special version of this fantastic Eurythmics song. Have fun!!!! ;-)))))

I love classical music and I love Rock and heavy guitar sounds, so I had to mix both worlds together in one track.
The classic guitar part is based on Robert de Visée's Bourrée in d-minor.

In my opinion the G'n'R version of Heavens Door is one of their biggest shots. Only Ms Kings version is better ;-))).

Some weeks ago I tried to play to this great tune the first time. Didn't know how to do it then. After listening to the versions of Peter Green and Gary Moore (Hey Rog! ;-)) I got a feel how to play it *lol*.

I Need Your Love So Bad (Cover)-- Ms King & Andreas Kloppenburg

My next more heavy track. At first there was the bass. It is inspired by the bass sound of Peter Steele from Type 0 Negative (May he rest in peace).  Second I wanted to add a classical element again. This time I put an oboe into this track :-))). 
All instruments were played by me, except the drums which came from addictive drums 2, as usual ;-).

Rocking Blues

I uploaded the instrumental track named "November the 7th" https://soundcloud.com/ndreasloppenburg/november-the-7th a few months ago. Had a female voice for additional vocals in mind then.
A bit later I heard some collaborations with Lawrence Farr https://soundcloud.com/awrencearr singing. He also wrote the lyrics for those tracks. I instantly became a fan of his voice and lyrics.  I badly wanted to do a collab together with him :-))).  I asked him if he could write and sing lyrics for "November...".  Well, he did and totally nailed it!!!!
He wrote awesome lyrics and performed them greatly with his unique voice. Based on the lyrics, we changed the title to "March To Nothingness".

Suicide City       (Feat.  Wild Christopher !)

My first collaboration with the very talented Yana Smutina. 

After listening to her music and reading the permanent collab-invitation on her page, I asked her if she would be interested to do a collab with me. She was :-) … a few weeks later *LOL*.

I thought, “Somebody Help Me” https://soundcloud.com/yana-smutina/somebody-help-me-music-and-words-yana-smutina would be great stuff to create a Rock ballad from.
Yana agreed and sent me the track stems after recording the whole thing again in a local studio. So I got voice and acoustic guitar separated for mixing and was able to add my spices to it. 

It was a pleasure to work with her. She always gave me great constructive feedback - what was great, what wasn’t and what has to be changed or replaced. The cello for in- and outro was her idea. I had a piano in my first song sketch, but now I think, the cello fits way better instead  😊 . To cut the song in two pieces and put a heavy solo passage into the gap was Yana’s idea too. She asked me to paint a musically picture of hell - “…a musical picture of hell with "Thunder and lightning”...”. I tried to do my best then – if I may mention that devil’s fart at the end of the solo? *ROFL*.

I'm a german guitarist who always wants to play better than he can *lol*. I love the sound of the guitar and I love guitars, their beauty and their smell. Never can get enough.
I wanted to make music since I was a little kid. I urgently wanted a guitar since the age of 10, I think. Unfortunately I got my first (classic) guitar not until the age of 18 because there was not enough money to buy one earlier. Well, since I've got my first guitar I nearly play every single day one of my darlings ;-).
Making my music public on the cloud is really a great thing for me. I love this community. Such fantastic musicians here...
I'm always interested in collaborating with talented musicians.
