Welcome to a very special episode of the NDYD Radio Show. It seems the listeners REALLY like it when I play house flavor edits so why not make an episode of two of my favorite edit master producers from the UK. Fingerman and The Reflex. These two kats have shaped my sound and sets over the years. They edit my favorite tracks when I was in high school and college. Not just edit them (ie: rip them off vinyl en recut them)but actually re-edit the songs from the original stems. This def doesn't make them bedroom producers with a laptop and Ableton but real talented pro artists. To be honest the only real winner in this vs 'battle' is me as I get to enjoy playing their work. I absolutely love these two guys. This set is a tribute to them and you get to hear them B2B. One track is Fingerman and the next is The Reflex and so on.

I had the pleasure to meet Parker (@parkermills) when I was going to play in that great city for the Stayin' Alive Parties and others. Parker is one of the residents there and after hearing this set you will understand why.

Cutting his teeth in the Miami house scene, Parker moved to Seattle in 2017 with a mission to bring the sounds he was influenced by to Seattle. His penchant for Soul, Disco, and leftfield house led to an opportunity to open for the legendary Questlove, as well as gaining the first residency of Seattle’s very own weekly disco revival, Stayin Alive. Whether it’s experimental house, Nu Disco, or soul classics, he has a singular focus on music that evokes an emotional response on the dance floor. The NDYD Radio Show EP199 - guest mix by Parker Mills - Seattle

Samosa Funk returned to the The Black Light Disco on the world’s number one house music station, My House Radio for the latest instalment in their monthly residency. Once again, they didn't disappoint! 

Les Inferno and De Gama wow us every month with their selections and expertly delivered sets. We often run out of superlatives when talking about these two masters of the groove, and each month they raise the bar higher and higher. 

For their October spot, Les Inferno kicks things off with a set brimming with slow-jam goodness. It's all original material - no edits, reworks or remixes here and the vibe is perfectly pitched for soothing the soul. If there's anyone in the game who can better Les Inferno's technical skills in mixing original classics, we've yet to find them!

For the second hour, De Gama raises the tempo a few notches, but makes sure the vibe continues where Les Inferno left off. This set is yet another masterclass of blending genres and styles - very much an intricate musical tapestry of disco, funk, soul and Afro. We genuinely think it's his best set for BLD so far. One of the many highlights of De Gama's hour comes in the form of a track from none other than Les Inferno himself titled 'Hey Santana' - forthcoming on the Daje Funk release Daje Cutz Vol.2. It really is special so keep an ear out for that!

Ricardo Torres is a West Coast DJ whose sound blends deep, soulful house and disco with the smooth, sun-kissed energy of Los Angeles. His mixes are crafted for true dance floor devotees—uplifting, groovy, and deeply rooted in the underground.

Ricardo began his DJ journey in 1987 at a college radio station in Montreal, later discovering Chicago House and falling in love with its raw emotion and rhythm. After moving to Los Angeles in 1995, he found inspiration in the city’s soulful spirit and from influential DJs like Jay-J, Marques Wyatt, Julius Papp, Mark Farina, and Miguel Migs.
