Welcome to EP205 of the NDYD Radio Show. The first show / mix recorded at my new place. I was moving all week last week and I finally connected my decks this weekend so the first thing was to record a new radio show. I am so happy to be back in my old hood on the west side by Venice Beach. One of the reasons I moved back here, besides to be inspire by the artistic community, was to get closer to work. I can now bike (or use a scooter) to our studios which is freakin' awesome for LA. Enjoy the latest edition of the show.

The Greek-born artist was raised in the golden era of 80’s Funk, Soul, and Disco, providing a colourful injection of inspiration to his record collection. C. Da Afro has released his own funk-infused productions on the likes of Midnight Riot, Editorial Records, and Hot Disgits. His brand new four-track EP, Disco House MasterClass Vol.5 is out now on SpinCat Music.

Was born in 1987 in the city of Cordoba, southern Spain in a neighborhood where guitars are played and children singing to the beat of a flamenco cajon. Since he was little he was passionate about music, not just electronic.
Currently with more than 10 years in the industry, Cuevas is best described as a creative and driven artist who continually advances and grows with his fans, sound, brand and alliances in creating his own style.
His passion for electronic music has evolved over the years into a successful career in which he played globally.
Today he is signed by the labels (Repopulate Mars, Rawthentic, Under No Illusion ... etc).
He has collaborated on a podcast for Radios such as ¨It's All About The Music¨ and ¨Kaluki Radio¨.
Cuevas's music is always evolving, his style is Tech-House & Minimal, incorporated by Break, Funk, Hip-hop, Acid, House, Techno & Deep-tech sounds.
When making a set, he is aware of the audience in front of him and the best thing about his personality is his energy, since he connects 100% with his audience reaching the highest level.

Ricardo Torres is a West Coast DJ whose sound blends deep, soulful house and disco with the smooth, sun-kissed energy of Los Angeles. His mixes are crafted for true dance floor devotees—uplifting, groovy, and deeply rooted in the underground.

Ricardo began his DJ journey in 1987 at a college radio station in Montreal, later discovering Chicago House and falling in love with its raw emotion and rhythm. After moving to Los Angeles in 1995, he found inspiration in the city’s soulful spirit and from influential DJs like Jay-J, Marques Wyatt, Julius Papp, Mark Farina, and Miguel Migs.

An early pioneer of online mix sharing in 2000, Ricardo quickly gained international recognition, leading to global performances and radio syndication. In 2016, he partnered with Germany’s Nu Disco Your Disco (NDYD) to launch the NDYD Radio Show, a weekly showcase of modern Nu Disco and soulful house that continues to attract a devoted worldwide audience.

Across decades and evolving trends, Ricardo’s mission remains the same: to share music that uplifts, connects, and celebrates the enduring groove of house. The NDYD Radio Show airs live every Saturday on d3ep.com—1 PM in Los Angeles, 3 PM in Chicago, 4 PM in New York, 9 PM in London, and 6 AM Sunday in Sydney—bringing the West Coast vibe to listeners around the globe.
