It just happens that this year the day I usually record the radio show falls on my birthday. What a perfect excuse to do what I love most. Play House music. Twist my Housie rubber arm. I know I said EP-281 was going to be the last episode for 2022 but I have a few days off work, I received some amazing new promos this week, and I just wanted to return to some Deep House after the last long Disco episode and I am definitely finishing the year with a deep dive on this EP-282.  So, for real this time the last episode of 2022. Next one will prob be my live set for the day party gig I am playing at on the 1st of 2023 or my recap of my favorite 2022 tunes of the past year. Maybe the other way around. No matter cause the music won't stop :)

The NDYD Radio Show EP282

First set for 2023! and so far it's my best of the year ha ha. All jokes aside I am really happy how this live recording from Station 1640 turned out. I got to play my favorite genres and bring energy to the dance floor on this first day of 2023. Day parties are really turning out to be my favorite. Maybe it has something to do with getting older. I also found out what this day drinking craze is all about. Quality tequila works in the daytime too ;) So does quality House Music and this first (live) episode of the year is full of it. I had so much fun playing and starting the year doing my favorite thing in the world.  Hoping you will also enjoy the music as much as the heads on the dance floor did.

Ricardo Torres, a West Coast DJ, is known for blending deep, soulful house and disco with a smooth, sultry West Coast vibe. His music is crafted for true dance music enthusiasts, delivering uplifting, groovy, and sexy experiences rooted in the underground scene.

Ricardo’s DJ journey began in 1987 at a college radio station in Montreal, Canada, where he initially spun industrial electronic music. By 1988, he was introduced to Chicago House and was captivated by its fresh energy, changing his musical direction. In 1995, he moved to Los Angeles, where the city’s sun-drenched, soulful vibe and influences from DJs like Jay-J, Marques Wyatt, Julius Papp, Mark Farina, and Miguel Migs drew him toward the deeper West Coast sound.
