On the weekend of July 1st I had the opportunity, once again, to do a guest mix for the radio show 'In A Dream with Mystic Pete' on LA's local radio station 88.9 FM KXLU. I think this was my 3rd guest mix for Pete's show and I took a bit of a familiar detour with this one. All previous mixes I did for KXLU were underground and Deep House so for this one I decided to give them a taste of the Yacht  series. Yacht Rock was the goal but the edits I played were leaning a lot more 'Psyrock'. I am really happy how it turned out so now that it aired on 88.9 KXLU I am putting it up here as episode 347 of the NDYD Radio Show.

"Miss You Still" is the latest single by NY area based producer Cloak Dagger on The Discography Lessons label. Deep disco and sultry house music inspired vibes permeate this release. Sit back relax and take a journey into the sensual and exotic.

The Black Light Disco exploded on to the My House Radio airwaves  with another two hours of straight up glitter farts and rainbow nipple tweaks  - live and direct from the world famous BLD Towers! 

This week sees the welcome return of our residents Ste Hendry aka Esteban and Cole Kutz to the DJ booth for their monthly crack at the rumpus room and celebration of all things disco, house and everything in between. 

Starting things off for the first hour, Cole Kutz moves majestically into the booth, wearing an off-the-shoulder black cocktail dress complete with Doc Martens and tasteful Henna Tattoos. In Cole’s record bag are gems from Tommy Glasses, Sgt Slick, Le Barbar, David Charles LaRue and Gips plus many more!

Welcome to a new episode  of the NDYD Radio Show. Did you guys missed me? I skipped an episode last week as we are rolling out new products at work and that is where all my attention has been.

To make it up to you guys I did, as requested by listeners, a new Mushroom Yacht episode. I didn't realize I only had made two of this popular series. Volume 3 of this new Mushroom Yacht clocks in at two and half hours of jazzy underground Hip Hop that rarely goes over 100 BPM. I actually played a lot of that sweet underground Hip Hop from the early 90s by artists like LL Cool J. Tribe Called Quest, Grand Puba, Black Sheep, 2Pac, Pete Rock and many more artists that were part of my youth. Hope you will enjoy it as much as I did recording it.

The NDYD Radio Show EP05

Ricardo Torres, a West Coast DJ, is known for blending deep, soulful house and disco with a smooth, sultry West Coast vibe. His music is crafted for true dance music enthusiasts, delivering uplifting, groovy, and sexy experiences rooted in the underground scene.

Ricardo’s DJ journey began in 1987 at a college radio station in Montreal, Canada, where he initially spun industrial electronic music. By 1988, he was introduced to Chicago House and was captivated by its fresh energy, changing his musical direction. In 1995, he moved to Los Angeles, where the city’s sun-drenched, soulful vibe and influences from DJs like Jay-J, Marques Wyatt, Julius Papp, Mark Farina, and Miguel Migs drew him toward the deeper West Coast sound.

In 2000, Ricardo pioneered sharing his mixes online, a bold and innovative step that garnered him international recognition. This exposure led to global performances and opportunities, while he also became a syndicated radio host on satellite and online platforms.
