It's that time again :)

Best of 2024 through out the year on the NDYD Radio Show. I only had one rule for a track to be in this compilation, it had to played during any of the shows that aired in 2024. This is not about how many sold or were popular (or not) just if it made it to a show this past year.

The track didn't have to have come out in 2024 either (tho alot did). Some of the tracks are a few years old but still were worthy of the 'best' in the selection. This was the method to my madness:

- about 60 shows in 2024
- pick one or two favorite track from each show
- that gave me a total of about 150 tracks
- out of the 150 I narrowed down to 100
- split the compilation in two parts:
     1 to 50 and 51 to 100 [coming next week]
- the tracks have no rating in terms of where they appear. I just made sure that they all mixed good together especially by key.

This is just my personal taste for the selection of these tracks - no science behind on how I picked them. This set is overt 4 hours long so make sure you are taking a long drive or train ride if you want to  listen to the whole thing ;)

This is my Holiday gift and thank you note to he faithful listener of the show. I'm posting this on December 25 so it still counts as a gift for your loyalty and support of the NDYD Radio Show over the last 8 years.

The NDYD Radio Show EP368-Best of '24 part 1

Back this week with another sonic treat in the form of NDYD Radio Show with me, your host, behind the wheels of steal. Actually that saying didn't age well. Should be change to 'behind the wheels of hard plastic' now that we all use CDJs instead of SL-1200 turntables. Mine are just collecting dust but they sure look good in the studio under the CDJs :)

The NDYD Radio Show EP374

KILLER BOOGIE is back on the My House Radio airwaves - and like a mad March hare, DeGama is hopping between past and present for this month’s musical extravaganza! 

DeGama has not only taken a deep dive into the memory crates for this one, he’s also got some new grooves and some brand new stuff to create this ‘Past and Present’ journey though time and sonic space; paying homage to recently departed icons such as Roy Ayers, Angie Stone, and Gwen McCrae. In 2000, Ricardo pioneered sharing his mixes online, a bold and innovative step that garnered him international recognition. This exposure led to global performances and opportunities, while he also became a syndicated radio host on satellite and online platforms.

Around 2016 Ricardo partnered with Germany’s Nu Disco Your Disco (NDYD), a leading advocate for the Nu Disco genre. Their collaboration birthed the NDYD Radio Show, which Ricardo hosts weekly, showcasing top global talent and steadily growing a loyal listener base. For Ricardo, Nu Disco offers a modern bridge for the soulful West Coast vibe to resonate with newer generations.
