I've been very busy these last few weeks with multiple projects. I did not have time to record a new show this week so instead I am posting a live set I did this summer for a private event for a company called SACO in New York City. The audience was very diverse so I kept the music light and mid-tempo with a lot of edits that they would recognize. Apologies for the roughness in the first few mixes but I had monitor issues. Once they fixed it it went smooth as butter :) Hey, it's live.

This is only two and half hours of the 6 hour (!) set I did. Maybe in the future I will post the rest. Next week we return with a special guest from Miami.

The D3EP Radio Network has significantly grown in the last year and our radio show is one of the highest rated program on the station. To reach an even wider audience and to accommodate the new programs our time slot has been moved to 2pm (GMT) on Thursdays (same day). This benefits mainly our European listeners. As well as being a huge success in his own right, Brent has played alongside some of the largest and most sought after names in the industry. From Martin Garrix, MK, Example, Hannah Wants, Duke Dumont, Rudimental, Hot Since 82 to Richy Ahmed, Danny Howard, Route 94, Pendulum, Sigala, Sigma, Lethal Bizzle and Skepta.

As a guaranteed crowd pleaser when it comes to the genre of House, it is no wonder that he has been asked to play venues such as Shoreditch’s infamous XOYO, Mission (Leeds) and The Nest (London). As well as being a successful DJ for the British club brand ‘Secret Party Project’ now ‘Forbidden Forrest’ across many warehouse, club-scene locations in the South of England. However, Brent’s achievements don’t end there, he has also been selected to DJ for the iconic brands ‘Ocean Beach’ and ‘Plastik’ in Ibiza. To top it off, for the past four years, Brent has held residency for the winter season at the famous ‘Dicks Tea Bar’ which would turn the heads of many a devoted skier and hardcore-house head the like. Here, he holds a reputation as a favourite of the alps, not only for his good looks and Northern charm, but for his back-to-back sets with Martin Garrix (on occasion), Apexape, Alex Ross, FDVM and many more.

From London, to Europe and the Maldives, Brent has proven that success is as natural to him as breathing is to you or I. He spent 3 months playing to the celebrity hot-spot known as ‘Six Senses’ in the 5 star Maldives resort, thus proving his musical versatility and his ability to transform from the up-beat raves of the Ibiza House-Scene to the chilled-out vibes of Maldivian relaxation.

Ricardo Torres, a West Coast DJ, is known for blending deep, soulful house and disco with a smooth, sultry West Coast vibe. His music is crafted for true dance music enthusiasts, delivering uplifting, groovy, and sexy experiences rooted in the underground scene.

Ricardo’s DJ journey began in 1987 at a college radio station in Montreal, Canada, where he initially spun industrial electronic music. By 1988, he was introduced to Chicago House and was captivated by its fresh energy, changing his musical direction. In 1995, he moved to Los Angeles, where the city’s sun-drenched, soulful vibe and influences from DJs like Jay-J, Marques Wyatt, Julius Papp, Mark Farina, and Miguel Migs drew him toward the deeper West Coast sound.

In 2000, Ricardo pioneered sharing his mixes online, a bold and innovative step that garnered him international recognition. This exposure led to global performances and opportunities, while he also became a syndicated radio host on satellite and online platforms.

Around 2016 Ricardo partnered with Germany’s Nu Disco Your Disco (NDYD), a leading advocate for the Nu Disco genre. Their collaboration birthed the NDYD Radio Show, which Ricardo hosts weekly, showcasing top global talent and steadily growing a loyal listener base. For Ricardo, Nu Disco offers a modern bridge for the soulful West Coast vibe to resonate with newer generations.

While underground music trends have evolved over the decades, Ricardo’s passion remains unwavering: playing music that inspires people to get up, dance, and celebrate the timeless groove of house music.
