Mithra (fka Streets) is the latest sonic effort of Chicago native Amir Mashayekhi. 

The new alias derives from stylistic crossroads & an attempt to tether his downtempo past with club-centric genres, proudly fusing his Latin & Persian heritage along the way. The byproduct results in challenging yet emotive DJ sets where no niche is left unexplored, from oddball techno to frantic jungle & beyond. 

He is also the co-founder & label manager of @satellite_era, having spearheaded countless A/V projects around the experimental music sphere.
