JARV’s lifelong love affair with music has deep roots, sprouting in the ‘70s influenced by six older siblings always spinning tunes.  Festivals have been a crucial part of his fabric since his first taste at Sweetwaters ‘83.  JARV’s sets reflect his broad musical palette, recreating his journey from  the reggae-infused snow and surf of Whanganui via the psychedelic experience of cave living in India and the melting pot that was the exploding dance culture of early ‘90s London. Now based in Tāmaki Makaurau, JARV's experimentation across music’s multiple genres continues to evolve. He knows how to party and how to bring the party.

Dubs Botanical HQ is perched on the raw, rugged west coast of New Zealand. Shifting to such a dynamic environment saw Kiwi electronic dub producer Gareth Bailey delve even further into his sonic adventure of melding bass heaviness with lush soundscapes.

Formed in 2009, Beats Botanical is a combination of Gareth’s original productions, live arrangements, synced visuals and guest vocals, including well-known New Zealand singer Ed Waaka and female vocalist Chalky. 

Emerging from the underground with a selection of fresh tunes - including new release Let It Burn (2015) - Beats Botanical lay down dubbed-out live electronica with multimedia projections to give their audience a unique, multi-sensory botanical experience.

Born and raised in West Yorkshire U.K.  I was introduced to reggea soundsytem music by the mighty iration steppas. 

Currently based in Aotearoa Nz. I am committed to playing my part, stoking the fire of the original rebel sound. Soundsytem reggae music, culture, its message and story. 

Dive Deep was a name I was given by a crew on the wild west coast, descriptive of my approach to life, my inner and outer world in relation to Reggea music. 

From skanka’ to selecta’ it is a joy and a pleasure to do jah work.
