SYDNIVERSE is the creative rebirth of Nigerian-American DJ and curator Sydney Love—New York’s first Nigerian female DJ. Born in Lagos and raised between The Bronx and Miami, she’s built a lane rooted in rhythm, rave, and the Afro-diaspora. Dubbed the Queen of AfroVibes, her genre-fluid sets blend Afrobeats, Amapiano, Hip-Hop, Alté, and Afrohouse, delivering high-energy sonic experiences that move bodies and shift moods.

Sydney Love has opened stages for artists like Uncle Waffles, Eve, Ari Lennox, Little Simz, Mayorkun, Major Lazer, Bnxn fka Buju, Keke Palmer, and Show Dem Camp, and has spun at international festivals including AfroNation, AfroFuture (fka Afrochella), and Chop Vegas. She recently toured with Tiwa Savage on the Water & Garri North American tour and continues to play top-tier sets at events like Everyday Afrique, Lincoln Center, and Let’s Get Fr.ee Festival.

As a cultural curator, Sydney created NAIRA, a nightlife platform rooted in Lagos nightlife culture and Black liberation. It has become a NYC staple, with sold-out parties and global community support. Her current monthly residency at Public Records NYC features her signature events, including ALTÉ CRUISE and CRAZYSEXYAFRO.

In 2022, she launched her indie label EKO MIAMI Records, further amplifying diasporic sound. Splitting time between Lagos, London, and New York, she continues to push boundaries and build bridges between continents through sound.
