Eta Ursae Majoris is a 10-million-year-old B-type main sequence star with a stellar classification of B3 V. Since 1943, the spectrum of this star has served as one of the stable anchor points by which other stars are classified. It has six times the mass; 3.4 times the radius, and is radiating around 594 times as much energy as the Sun. Its outer atmosphere has an effective temperature of about 15,540 K, giving it the blue-white hue of a B-type star. This star is an X-ray emitter with a luminosity of 9.3 × 1028 erg s−1.

Here's another quick demo of the Manhattan Analog MA35 VCF/A. This patch is super-simple, consisting of only 4 modules - Rene sequencing a Z3000, sawtooth out through the MA35 with a VCF303's envelope output shaping the filter. (Triggers for the EG also provided by Rene.) There is some reverb and delay, both from Strymon pedals. 

There's some areas of high resonance and areas of low or no resonance. The idea of this demo is to show :

1) how it reacts to lower input levels than in the 'Resonant Study' I've posted, and 
2) how it sounds in a more musical context than said other demo.

Note the second 'phantom melody' that shows up in a couple of spots as the resonance is set just to the edge of oscillation while the input level is below the distortion zone. 

I hope this helps you get a better idea of the range of sounds available from this filter. It really is a versatile little machine; equally proficient in music as in mayhem.
