 This song was written and recorded in the last 24 hours  which coincides with the eve of the Tasmanian State election. 
This version is hot of the desk, warts and all,  it is the bare bones of whats to come. We hope to finish the song in coming weeks, but we wanted to post it up before the RALLY on Sunday.

March In March

A half finished recording  with The Fat Band of a song that I had written during my years of Forest activism in Tasmania.. I started calling Log trucks Satans Chariots during at time when a few of us got arrested for holding up log trucks in the main street of hobart as a demonstrative protest against the forestry practices in Tasmania

Away With You

This one really is from the vaults, it was roughly  recorded in a friends lounge room  in 1998 it was never mixed or released.. yet has a haunting vintage sound that I  still can appreciate for the times..the words were inspired by some crazy events that took place that summer,  protests & deaths,  festivals and funerals ,  loves lost & found on the path and the  underlying sense that we are only here on  earth for a short glimpse...

Mista Savona @ Rainbow Serpent Festival, Victoria, Australia - Summer 2015

My DJ set from Rainbow Serpent Festival - which is one of my favourite festivals occuring over the Australian summer. This was such a high energy set, and the dancefloor was absolutely amazing to witness. It's a mix of dancehall, uptempo reggae and bass electronic tunes with quite a few original productions thrown in, including some as-yet-unreleased cuts on the Kalonji Riddim featuring Burro Banton and Junie Platinum(check out http://www.bornaking.com/). Other artists featured include Stylo G, Liquid Stranger, Skarramucci, Randy Valentine, Sizzla, Turbulence, Tarrus Riley, Benny Page, Chase & Status, Cutty Ranks, Busy Signal & many more.

Massive shout out to my friend and MC Di Apprentice, who absolutely tore up the stage during this show - but unfortunately his mic line was not recorded from the front of house and so can't be heard here. Also a shout out to Jesse I and the Chant Down crew who played a solid roots set just before me, and Stickybuds (Canada) who played a wicked dancehall & breaks set straight after me. A special thanks to Andrew Schudmak & the crew at Rainbow Serpent for making it happen! Awesome as always.
