This release marks the first album in a series of 7, arriving each autumn. 
For as long as I can remember, I’ve felt there was something truly mysterious about this world, and always wanted to find out just what that is. I think I may have found out some of it, but I also think I’ve only just scratched the surface. That’s kind of what this album is about. Until recently it had always seemed to me as if everything around me was so out of context, nonsensical, random. Finally I am beginning to understand that everything is connected, and I’d really like to keep exploring that, so here is something in context.

Depuis toujours, j’ai senti qu’il y avait quelque chose de vraiment mystérieux à propos de ce monde, et j’ai toujours voulu découvrir ce que c’était. Je crois en avoir découvert une partie, mais je pense aussi que je n’ai fait qu’égratigner la surface. C’est un peu l’idée de cet album. Jusqu’à récemment, il m’a toujours semblé que tout autour de moi était hors de contexte, insensé, aléatoire. Finalement je commence à comprendre que tout est connecté, et je voudrais vraiment continuer à explorer tout ça, voici donc quelque chose dans son contexte.

Something in Context  [1/7]

Jamie Woon is one of these artists which suprised us over and over again with his voice and music. Remixes with Burial, tracks like 'Night Air' or 'Lady Luck' just blow us away. Jamie has a big spectrum of musical possibilities and use them as he like to use it. You simply can see and hear his love for music. 

We did this track and decided to add some voice snippets from him, so we get the deepness we want. The track is called 'spirits', which is a really stunning interpretation by Jamie. 

We hope you'll like it as we enjoy to produce this little thing and be sure to check out his forthcoming album "Mirrorwriting".

This album was released for free and with a pay option because I think there is something seriously wrong with the music industry, and it doesn’t feel right to charge money for something that is dear to me. Gelka, the duo that has been on such labels like Om Records, Ministry of Sound, Stereo Deluxe, Wax On Records or Warp, and who are known for electronizing the sunsets contemporary downtempo the most modern way one could imagine, kicks off the summer season with a very own EP, after countless appearances on Café Del Mar. Teaming up with their permanent vocalist, Phoenix Pearle, known from Nightmares On wax, they returned with a delicate, fine and melodic song, Million Nights, remixed by @Synkro, in addition to Marcel and @Forteba.
