Oss-Hypocrisy

The story begins with the main character speaking from a prison cell. He feels trapped — not just by the walls around him, but by the consequences of his own actions.

He looks back on everything that happened, knowing there’s no way to undo it. The guilt, regret, and isolation weigh heavily on him. "Confined" introduces the listener to his state of mind at the end of the story, before the album takes us back to show how it all began.

“Obstinacy” is the third chapter of The Tunnel, focused on the relentless obsession with uncovering the truth at any cost. It reflects the mental strain of pushing beyond limits—where the need to know more leads to poor decisions, blurred judgment, and a betrayal of one’s own beliefs. The track builds on the psychological spiral of the album, showing how the pursuit of knowledge can distort perception and integrity.

Obstinacy

“Paranoia” is the fifth piece of The Tunnel, capturing the psychological breakdown that comes from constant fear and distrust. It dives into the belief that everyone is against you—that every glance hides a threat, every silence conceals a plot. As the mind spirals deeper, sleep becomes impossible, and when it comes, it brings only nightmares. This track marks a descent into isolation, where perception becomes distorted and reality turns hostile.

Paranoia

“Unstable” is the seventh track of The Tunnel, following the harsh realization uncovered in Cognizance. Now fully overwhelmed, the protagonist begins to unravel—mentally and emotionally. He swings violently between rage, apathy, and desperation. At times, he feels like nothing matters; other times, he feels trapped by how much he cares. The track captures the chaos of a collapsing mind, unable to process the weight of the truth or find a way forward.

Unstable

“Demise” is the eighth chapter of The Tunnel, where the protagonist reaches his breaking point. Consumed by instability and despair, he decides to kill the woman he once loved—the one who first made him feel alive. There’s no turning back. This act is not just violence outward, but inward: the destruction of the last part of himself that could feel. He knows he’ll never sleep again. This is his own death, disguised as survival.

“Tunnel”, the ninth track of The Tunnel, confronts the crushing realization that nothing ever truly changes. The path was always set. Growth, redemption, or escape were illusions—naive hopes from a mind that didn’t understand itself. The flaws, the pain, the patterns—they were always part of who he is. There is no light at the end. Just the tunnel itself. And now, all that’s left is to keep walking deeper into it.

Tunnel

This song is very much in the style of Candlemass . I cant say i even play close to the caliber that Candlemass did back in the day , but to me the song reminds me of their style .. And who the fk can sing like Messiah anyways .. Only the gods can my friends .

Our sound is ritualistic, raw, poetic, and unsettling – a feverish hallucination of lust, madness, and damnation.

Yet beneath the surface of distortion and desire, much of what we create is deliberately satirical, infused with dark humor, and framed by a sharp lens of social and systemic critique.
Even in our most explicit expressions, we do not glorify violence or sexuality – rather, we expose and question the very ways they are distorted, repressed, or exploited by society.

We first came together around 2004, initially under a different project name. NeON dEVIL, as it exists today, began to take shape in 2009 with the release of our first official album. We are not bound to a fixed genre. While much of our work lives within the realm of extreme metal, we also draw heavily from other styles — trap, rap, classical music, 70’s psychedelic rock, avant-garde, and at times even pop or swing.
Our influences are vast because each of us comes from a different musical background, and it is essential to us that every member can fully express themselves and feel at home within this project.

NeON dEVIL is a nonprofit music project.
We do not create for profit — all earnings are used exclusively either to support charitable causes or to fund the creation of new music. No part of our income goes anywhere else. The art we make either helps those in need or fuels the fire for our next creation.
