For the start of the year and at the zenith of the gray winter, Antientertainers came up with their newest release: the EP "Take us higher". Along with the title track, they take you back to balmy summer nights or dreamy winter evenings by the fireplace. The new song "Take us higher" lets you groove in the usual and seductive Antientertainers style.

The two remixes by Steve Cole and the guys from Traumzustand will guarantee swaying hips on the dance floor. The EP is rounded off by the pop anthem "Forever Young", which gives you power for the new year and pushes you in the heaven of pop. Every couch potato will be forced to jump.

When the artists from Mar Dean, La Baaz aka Moosfiebr entrusted us with producing their track, our hearts here at Schallbox filled with excitement and enthusiasm. They have managed to pair emotion and groove in one track: Bassblütentherapie! Their track was already one of the long-running favourites at the Fusion and Garbicz Festivals, despite being "unreleased". Now it is high time to make it accessible and give everyone a dose of Bassblütentherapie.

Matija & I am Frost joined forces in the studio and worked together until their interpretation blossomed into a remix. And of course the creative director of Schallbox, Steve Cole, did not want to miss out; he also left his mark on Moosfiebr's second masterpiece.

As usual, the new Schallbox024 release is as versatile as a swiss army knife! Simply Schallbox!

Last summer, Ballroom Records opened a pair of sub-labels. While Ballroom Black focuses on mainroom techno, Ballroom Purple covers the “chilled end of the spectrum.” The latter's deep, melodic and downtempo style culminates with its owner/manager, Kaiser Souzai. Under the Purple Kaiser alias, he experiments with live vocals, drums and strings. Bringing more flavor to the German imprint, Steve Cole now makes a raucous debut. As a member of the “techno-beat scene,” he employs minimal yet dynamic composition and sound design. “Rodeo” exudes high energy much like an untamed bucking bronco!

Tom Shopper and Sektion Tanz in a strong collaboration on Beatwax Records. After Tom Shopper has already released several celebrated releases on the Nuremberg label, it is a debut for Sektion Tanz. A perfect tech house EP with lots of groove and driving flow - remixes from Franconia are provided by Beatwax owner and founder Homebase, Der 8.Sinn and Bastian Fuchs. Steve Cole, owner of the Schallbox label, delivers a fantastic mix from
Switzerland. But that's still not enough - Sascha Kloebers (We Were Young) Remix perfectly rounds off the multifaceted and harmonious disc. The title "Board" came from the shared passion for snowboarding between the two artists but can also be understood as the typical German jargon „Brett“ for a perfect song. And that definitely fits with each of the 6 tracks.

Our studio contains about 150 vintage synthesizers, drum machines, vocoders and any kind of other weird sound generating devices. Combine that with a high-end, partly custom built sound system and state-of-the-art soundprocessors (Manley, Drawmer, Avalon, Eventide, etc) and you get a wonderful playground for every sound addict.

However, NEOPREN Records is not just a record label. We are also a booking agency. This is where Berlin and Paris comes in. Our Staff in Berlin and Paris mainly takes care of bookings but also of our distribution, promotion and artwork as well as web design. They also manage our events in the particular countries.

We are not only focusing on sound. There is also our visual-art division called NEOPREN Edition which combines visual arts and club-culture by organizing events and release DVD's with/about artists with a more visual focus.

We are constantly looking for artists, who wish to cooperate, participate, and help to make things happen.
