It’s two legends for the price of one here at Juno Daily. Inspired by the chartbusting Stars On 45 singles of the 80s, electronic maverick Scanner used the same hit-after-hit technique to create mixes of some of his favourite artists during lockdown.  Here’s his mix of highlights from the catalogue of bleep techno titans LFO.

Meet Ivna Ji, a Croatian DJ and producer whose distinct sound has earned her releases on renowned labels such as Brokntoys and 20/20 Vision. 

Known for her experimental edge, Ivna’s music remains true to the spacey, melodic elements that defined early tracks like ‘The Glowing’ and ‘Laax’. 

Her tracks have found homes on labels like ZwaarteKracht, Aztlan Records, and Baox, with standout releases like ‘Rescape’ alongside heavyweights Extrawelt and Djedjotronic on 20/20 Vision. 

Beyond the studio, Ivna expands her creative reach lending her sonic expertise as a freelancer to film sets, making her a true force in both, production and performance.

Undeniably important and inimitable in taste, Underground Solution was integral part of RTRFM's fabric for 33 years. Neptunian Influence Podcast, Thirty-Three | Featuring @214_electro

To celebrate three years of Neptunian Influence, we are delighted to present a mix by an electro hero, 214. Hailing from the majestic North Bend, located outside of Seattle and treasured for being the filming location of Twin Peaks, 214’s home has been the inspiration for many of his timeless pieces of music, which in turn have influenced electro lovers around the world. The snowscape transmission that he’s provided for Neptunian Influence seems to transport you to his daily surroundings - only before an inevitable trip to outer space :)

With two full-length albums and over a dozen singles and EPs under his belt, 214’s most recent release is ‘Rex And Shuffle’ on Steffi’s @klakson-records. In March, watch out for his ‘Si View EP’ being released via Sync 24’s @cultivated-electronics. 

This mix also serves as the second part in a series highlighting artists from the Pacific Northwest. Part one was delivered by @tufseattle’s @livwutang, who recently performed alongside 214 and @dbridge_exitrecords at Seattle’s @kremwerk.
