I started this as "just" a new version to play in my DJ sets. I needed Tentacles to be a bit more fun and playful when it drops, but wanted to keep most of the concept of the buildup - which was always the standout part of the track for me. My edit came out quite well, so I decided to show it to Nik and Martijn and we agreed I should finish it as an official remix!

Quite possibly the biggest remix I have ever made, this bass heavy rework was probably in the top three biggest breaks tune for 2003. Full props to Groove Armada for making such an incredible original.

Obviously inspired by Craig Armstrong - this was written in 2005 at a real low point. It was kind of like sinking to the bottom of a pool. 

But then, when you hit the bottom you can use it to push off and soar to the surface. So there's a bit of hope in there too.

It ended up as the last track on our album.
