I love '17 Days', it's one of my favourite Prince songs. The 1983 live performance version that's on the album 'Piano & A Microphone 1983' is so utterly beautiful. It's just Prince and a piano, no band. I'd say it's possibly better than the studio version. I wanted to create a version I could play in my DJ sets, as his vocal is just so perfect.

I know there's been a couple of other bootleg remixes over the years but I've always felt they've lacked the groove that a Prince song deserves. 

So here's my shot at remixing Prince, Enjoy! LLR x

About this CD:
I first discovered what Lazy Dog was all about when tuning into one of Danny Rampling's many Love Groove Dance Party saturday night shows on Radio 1. The deep sounding, sexier and feel good vibes got me interested and I always remember having it taped to cassette on my train trip down to live in London in 2001. When I arrived, I picked up the double disc from a Virgin Megastore on Kings Road and it's soundtrack went onto be the anthem of my year.
