SAMSTAG ist german for saturday. Back in 2006 i was working on a conceptalbum called "the week". Unfortunatly I have never finished the album. SAMSTAG would have covered the partynight of the week. Woudn't you agree, that there is no better day to party than saturday?

World Wide West - an hommage to the good old soundtrack of western movies. It took me a while to finaly finish this song. But now I'm really happy with the result. I can't remember anymore, where i got the inspiration from.In the beginning, the working title was "Top Model". It didn't feel right at the end. And then there was that image in my head of a cowboy (or cowgirl) riding throug the prairie. What do you think?

I love mallet instruments, I love melodies and I love complex arrangements. This song has it all. It starts soft and romantic, it flows gently like water in a creek. Then the speed increases, rapids are coming and the beats are standing against the water like the rock stands against the current. I'm sure everybody sees and hears music differently.
