At this point for about a three minutes (comparing our two recordings) it is me jamming alone because the netpd server came offline.

Now Roman noticed the server was offline and told me so in the IRC chatroom. A minute later the server automatically came back online.

If you only have laptop speakers, skip this track: the bass subtleties need earbuds fones at a minimum.

The server went offline during the jam for a couple of minutes roughly from 5m30s to 8m30s where we recorded/jammed independently of each other (not technically a "netsplit", but near enough for a song title) and Squiggle's recording had more going on in this section so his version was chosen for you to listen here.

Previously sqgl & Roman accidently began recording while sqgl forgot to go online (we were chatting on IRC not in netpd) and although realising it a couple of minutes in, sqgl decided to record an "ego take" :) This may or may be uploaded somewhere also.

These weekly jams are a followup to Sydney workshops held by immersants.net in 2013 using software developed by Roman and others at netpd.org as an extension of PureData open source software.
