This song began when Joe, feeling a bit nostalgic, wrote the lyrics and composed it on his acoustic guitar. He recorded it and sang it with expert harmonies, then decided to share it with Eclectic Collective. We were all very excited to get work on our second song with Joe, as we all admire his songwriting.
  First up was Tez this time, oddly enough. He was able to identify all the fill spots and light up the solo without the rest of us even adding anything yet. Next came Ken, who usually goes first, adding his steady grooving drums and tasty percussion. Once the drums were down, Josh completed the rhythm section by adding his fretted bass. He also worked out an organ part to give the whole sound a bit of thickness. Also adding some thickness and texture, Stephen added a clean electric rhythm part, as well. 
  Once we had it in can we asked Stephen to mix and produce it for us, which he did in his always expert fashion. 
  This, as mentioned, is Eclectic Collective's second song with Joe, and we all enjoyed bringing it to life with him. He's a wonderful collaborator and an all around good dude. Do yourself a favor and go check out his page, which is rich in great songs. We hope you enjoy listening to this as much as we enjoyed making it.

That wasn't on purpose either... Nice and golden ratio like and given how the project started with a GR tempo relationship... Nice one universe. I appreciate you having my back!

This person had the bright idea of representing the GR by a count every 1.6 seconds. If you count a minute with these gaps you get 97 apparently. Sounds round about right but I didn't test it. They seem to have taken some liberty with rounding so... They use 1.666 secs per beat... It should be 1.618033 per beat and they also rounded their result .. maybe you'd get the same whole number anyways (TBC)
Might work this out properly for a other song haha

This one is about living in the moment. I've only really begun to start being able to appreciate it although I've heard and believed we need to live like that for years. I've never been able to control it for various reasons and a lack of emotional intelligence. So it's relatively simple to spell the ideas in a song but the real power comes from living it and I believe it's becoming less and less of a battle for me... It absolutely still comes and goes and my mind does wander places I dont want it to at times I don't want it to but I have given myself tools to force myself out of that and back into the moment.. Just wrote this so I'll add to this iver the next day or so and make it whatever light I feel is there for a moment...
We all came from a moment! a la big bang! A singularity! The zinc spark moment starts it all until it's lights out for our last moment... They are the obvious ones but it's the rest that we control and we're not always fully present in them... tbc

just made today so should be nice when I get this fully expressed. Another few musical moments to lock in 🤓😆
