I'm here to share and appreciate all genres of music.  Most of what I am currently recording is electronic, and largely ambient, in nature; however, I have recently started recording cover songs of various tunes.  So, since I'm no longer strictly ambient (only mostly), I've changed my SoundCloud name to Smooth Waters Sonic Journeys.  Headphones greatly enhance the listening experience. Working with bass clarinet, saxophones, trumpet, kalimba, keys, and electronics, he builds immersive, emotionally charged soundscapes.

Combining woodwinds instruments with live looping and effects, Ni! explores themes of beauty, tension, sensuality, and solitude.
His music moves between improvisation and structure, always rooted in deep listening and a cinematic approach to sound.
