Madloch's 3rd Avenue proudly presents the Sismo EP from Venezuelan DJ and producer Edu Russo. The five-track collection features Sismo, 9, Xima, Serbia, and Luciana, each reflecting his distinctive blend of organic, progressive, and rhythmically rich sounds.

Born in 1998 and now part of the global electronic scene, Edu brings a deep musicality shaped by his Venezuelan roots. A self-taught guitarist since childhood, his productions merge emotional depth with percussive energy, drawing influence from Latin rhythms, melodic textures, and global electronic soundscapes. The result is music that feels alive, both on and off the dance floor.

After making his first appearance on the label in May 2025 with a contribution to Three Of A Kind #034, followed by a remix for Ben Monday, Edu Russo now returns with his first full EP on 3rd Avenue. He has also appeared on our sister labels Sound Avenue, Future Avenue, South America Avenue, and Bar Melodia, continuing to expand his footprint across the Sound Avenue label group. With Sismo EP, Edu delivers a dynamic and expressive work that captures his evolving sound and creative spirit.

Loop Dreams sees ventoux^ developing his synth-heavy but organic sound with a particular nod to the Brazilian music he loves so much. There are fragments of tropical vocals, flutes and guitar, a bit of 7/4, a reworked version of the Roy Ayers classic This Side of Sunshine and a collaboration with Parisian experimental soul dup SaturneVille.

@LozGoddard joins Team Bad in the third installment of the @Quartetseries with the B1 cut, “Home”. Stepping away from his usual sample-oriented and fairly lighthearted sound, he contributes a hypnotizing, synth-heavy stomper. This groovy number revolves around an arpeggiated acid lead with a soulful vocal that fits perfectly despite the contrast. A secondary arpeggiated synth line whirls and mesmerizes while aggressive snares and machine-like claps propel the groove. Some tension is relieved temporarily with warm chords and a top end string before resuming to deliver the punishment on the Good Guys.

Kampana delivers once again with a pair of dance floor gems that will please lovers of funk, disco and gospel alike.

On the A-side, Aroop Roy means serious business with 'Reason to Dance'. Driven by an outrageous slap bass, infectious horn stabs and a limb-shaking vocal refrain, it's no surprise that this has been THE secret weapon of his recent sets around the world.

On the flip, Detroit native @petercroce, fresh from the huge success of his Razor-N-Tape EP, comes in equally strong, with the gospel-fuelled disco cut 'Just Like Heaven'. The track builds patiently, lingering on a raw disco groove, honing in on a powerful brass section and spirit-lifting vocals, and eventually climaxing with epic strings and thunderous piano.

@joelewandowski a Dj and producer originally from Paris. For years, he had and adulterous relationship with techno with his band : the Iron Years. But in 2015, a stay in New York brought him back to his own true love, house music. Back in France, he became one of the resident of Parisian club Garage and played alongside Bambounou, Sascha Funke and Les Yeux Orange. Thanks to his EP's on @amsem, Deep and Roll and Hopera records, Joe has become one of the promising talent of Parisian house new scene. 

Fluctuating between dance and melancholia, @joelewandowski offers us a musical landscape from Chicago to Rio, from Jazz to Latin House, from Music to Love. From 70’s disco riffs with producer @bootiegrove (Zé pequeño ) to latin rhythms (Bahia), Joe provides us perfect anthems for evasion. He collaborates with Trumpeter @jake-scully-1 (Must Feel Like It) to drawn us to his vision of Eden. Together, they also pay tribute to the Godfather of house music, Frankie Knuckles ( Frankie Goes To Heaven).
