The latest installment in our free download series welcomes Nicolas Rada for his third appearance. Upon beginning his career in 2007, Nicolas quickly became a favourite of Hernan Cattaneo where his original productions and private remixes become a staple in the sets of the storied DJ. Hailing from Buenos Aires, the Argentinean artist eventually found a home on Nick Warren’s The Soundgarden and Eelke Kleijn’s Days Like Nights where his groovy progressive sound has flourished. 2017 proved to be a breakout year, highlighted by his first remix collaboration with Nick Warren, where the duo reworked Upercent’s ‘Pulsacions’ to both critical and commercial success. Now frequent studio partners, Nicolas and Nick have continued to build a strong studio synergy showcasing their original material on Nick’s The Soundgarden imprint while also recording a string of impressive remixes for Get Physical, Monday Social Music, Proton Music and Timeless Moment. On the solo front, Nicolas has also continued to prosper with an appearance on Patrice Buamel’s GU Berlin compilation, along with original projects for Sudbeat Music and TRYBESof. Having first appeared on our free download series with his hugely sought-after remake of Bjork’s ‘Mutual Core’ in 2019 and then again in 2020 with an equally large rendition of Underworld’s ‘Cowgirl’, we’re happy to welcome Nicolas back with a huge interpretation of the Depeche Mode classic ‘Precious’. Initially remixed by progressive house icons Sasha and Spooky in 2005, Nicolas now brings a new perspective to the track which has been championed by John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren. After months of requests from electronic music fans we’re now happy to offer it as an exclusive free download. Enjoy!

The latest installment of our free download series welcomes Henri Hurtig aka Cid Inc back for his third appearance. 2019 proved to be another year of successes for the Finnish artist and Replug label boss. The March release of his well received ‘Via Karela’ EP got the year underway, setting the stage for contributions to Hernan Catteneo’s ‘Balance Presents Sunsetstrip’ compilation and the Armadillo Records ‘Fields, Vol. 1’ collection. October then saw Henri commemorate Replug’s ten-year anniversary with the Orsen collaboration ‘Ten’, before returning to Guy J’s Lost and Found Records with a chart-topping remix of Kasper Koman’s ‘Hi’ to round the year out in style. The beginning of 2020 has been equally inspired, with remixes for Beat Boutique and Einmusika, along with the March release of his acclaimed ‘Citadel’ EP. Having delivered his remake of James Holden’s ‘A Break In The Clouds’ to our series in 2018, Cid Inc now returns with his much requested edit of The Beloved ‘Sweet Harmony’ (Kosmas Epsilon & Zorz 'Northern People' Bootleg Mix). Released in 2004 as a white label only, the track proved impactful, earning play from a broad spectrum of A-list Djs and firmly etching its place in the history of progressive music. Long a favourite of Cid Inc, the Replug boss took to re-editing the classic last year, resulting in months of play from Hernan Cattaneo. Now after much demand we’re happy to offer the track as an exclusive free download. We hope you enjoy it.

If a new generation of self-identity artists is emerging within the electronic music scene, there is where we will certainly find the Argentinian Nicolás Rada, a DJ and producer who has created his own firmly-based path onwards success.

His early influences of Progressive Rock have led him to create a characteristic sound that his public appreciates and that makes you enjoy either on the dance floor or out of it. That sound is the one which conducted him to different labels such as The Soundgarden, Sudbeat, Balance, Get Physical, Chapter24, Sincopat, DAYS Like NIGHTS, Hoomidaas, Proton, among many others.

Since his very first steps in electronic music, up to date, Nicolás’ productions have received support from important referents as Nick Warren, Hernán Cattaneo, John Digweed, Danny Howells, Sander Kleinenberg, Guy Mantzur, Guy J, Patrice Baumel, Eelke Kleijn, Armen Miran and from many others. This guidance has given, and will surely give many opportunities to his carreer. Thus, the legendary Nick Warren proposed him to make some collaborations together and that is how not only their professional but also personal relationship began, releasing “Land of Dreams”, an EP edited by Nick’s label, The Soundgarden.

Warren’s musical knowledge challenged Nicolás with a new goal in a crucial moment of his carreer, to produce an album. And that’s the origin of “Resilience”. In addition to that, Patrice Baumel included Nicolás’ track “Cumulonimbus” in the prestigious album Global-Underground Berlin and Nick Warren added one of their productions to the mythological label Balance.

Since 2020 is on the roster of Analog Agency alongside some of most important Djs in the world. Nicolas’s brilliance has taken him on a global musical journey performing in a multitude of countries like Netherlands, Australia, Hungary, Spain, Scotland, Mexico, Colombia, Ecuator, Chile, Uruguay, Peru, Sri Lanka and many others.  In his own country, he has covered almost all Argentina, visiting the most important clubs. He has been supporting Djs around the globe like John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Sasha, Nick Warren, Satoshi Tomii, Eelke Kleijn, Guy Mantzur, Patrice Baumel and others.

His talent and achievements and music have been featured in music publications such as DJ MAG, Electronic Groove, Decoded Magazine, Vicious Mag, Change-Underground, When We Dip, which are the leading print and online sources within the music industry.
Nicolas captivates audiences with his performances at the premier venues in Argentina and South America, solidifying his reputation as a highly sought-after artist within the electronic music scene. These experiences are a testament to his remarkable abilities and underscore his invaluable contributions to music scenes across the globe.
