Brad Rau has been performing music for over 20 years all over Boston, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware, as a classical guitarist, rock guitarist, and rock drummer. Brad received a scholarship to attend New England Conservatory (NEC) and received a Master’s degree in 2015 with academic honors. At NEC, he studied classical guitar under Eliot Fisk who was the last pupil of Andres Segovia. Brad has performed in countless masterclasses with instructors including; Sharon Isbin, Andrew York and Jason Vieaux, all Grammy award-winning guitarists. Brad was recently a featured performer on Live WRTI Performance Studio. Brad’s personal learning methods have enabled him to surpass his competition memorizing over 8 hours of the most difficult repertoire for the classical guitar. Brad was a semi-finalist in the International Texas Guitar Competition of 2008. In addition to his performing career, Brad has mentored hundreds of students of all ages, styles, and levels. Many of Brad's students have gone on to develop their own music careers and teaching studios. Brad's unique teaching style combines music, physics, philosophy, and humor, making him a well-rounded instructor for a variety of students.

I'm a self taught guitarist who has spent 15 or so years playing rock and heavy metal. However since January 2013 I have decided to expand my horizons a little, teach myself classical guitar and read music.

I now also privately teach guitar to beginners and looking to expand this business.

This page is currently devoted to posting purely unpolished, unfinished, demo tracks either made on the day they are posted or dug out from old hard drives.

There is no real genre connection, no heavy editing, just musical ideas I've had at one time or another.  This Soundcloud page should serve more as a diary (with musical entries instead of written) than a place to serve up singles, albums, EPs, etc.

The hope is to always challenge yourself as a music maker, perhaps by making more of my own music public I will find it easier in future to focus on larger, more coherent and finished bodies of work without screwing them up and throwing them away.

Renamed my page A to Z Guitars because I play any style of music and all types of Guitars which I love to do.  Thank you for listening to my stuff.  Love the feedback you have given me.  I will always listen back to anyone who has commented on my stuff.  I will always look for something positive in what you are trying to achieve with your music.

Guitar Player since 76! Enjoy playing and performing guitar in any style/genre.  Regularly play 6 & 12 String Acoustics, Classical & Electric Guitar.  Love alternative tunings. 
Love writing solo guitar pieces and have written pieces for other instruments.  Had 1, 2 & 3 position on Vitaminic & Peoplesound in Avant- Guard Jazz section back in 2000 with a Double Bass & Clarinet piece.
I will put up some guitar solo/Instrumentals.
Recently started writing again with an old friend Terry Hindle which I have thoroughly enjoyed.  Check out Terry's section as well.  He is a 1st rate songwriter and there will be many more collaborations.
Desde 76 guitarrista! Disfrutar jugando y realizando la guitarra en cualquier género/estilo.  Regularmente juega 6 & 12 String acústica, clásica & guitarra eléctrica.  Amo las afinaciones alternativas.  Quiero escribir piezas de guitarra solista y han escrito obras para otros instrumentos.
