While famed for the global smash 'Sandstorm', Darude's long and successful career has seen him release four studio albums, earn a string of awards and multi-platinum discs, and perform at festivals and club shows in over 70 countries around the world. All of which is a testament to his status as an international artist within the electronic music scene. With a style that is a mixture of progressive and uplifting trance and house, fused with elements of techno and breaks, Darude's music delivers dynamic dancefloor energy. 

Hailed by DJ Magazine as "Finland's biggest musical export", Darude has performed at festivals and events worldwide, including Ministry of Sound, Exchange LA, Parookaville, Radio 1's One Big Weekend, Groove Cruise, Dreamstate SoCal, Weekend Festival Baltic, and Tomorrowland. His music has also led him to headline TwitchCon several times. As well as perform at numerous eSports championships such as The International, appear in the video game DJ Hero, and usher in 2017 with a special New Year's Eve countdown set in Helsinki in front of 100,000 people, as part of the celebrations of 100 years of Finnish independence.

This project means a lot to me as I really wanted to prove to myself that I can do anything; even produce a beat all by myself from start to finish. Across these tracks you might discover that I'm still singing about real life situations that linger in my mind and still have an effect on me today. I wanted to paint a picture for everyone listening as best as I could because all of these songs have a story and I'm ready to let them go and start a new chapter.
