K - Effect, the wizard of mastering, is the hand behind the mastering process of some of the main underground electronic music labels, like ESTHÉTIQUE (Toulouse), Tom Tom Disco (Sweden), CSK Beat (Italy), Nein Records (London/Berlin), Tráfico (Mexico) or Factor City (Barcelona). His mix for Dancetería is a magic selection of this stuff and his own productions and remixes.

BIO:
This sound and mastering technician has been part of other companies in the past and his more than 30 years of experience have led him to play his exclusive music for the best clubs in the country during the 90s and onwards and also acting abroad in places like Brussels, Oslo, Berlin, Stockholm, Vilnius, Toulouse or Zagreb among others. He is one of the few that has accomplished to have his own and particular sound, forged by hard work and a lot of effort at the studio, knowing what he wants and showing that at each one of his sets and tracks. Full of charism, passion, and quality, he is able to surprise the most demanding ears of the actual musical scene.

If there are any pioneers in Toledo, K-Effect is, without any doubt, one of them. Working in developing  new wave and slow sounds with lot of energy, fresh and cool sounds which has led them since they began as K-Effect, a year ago, to publish, remixing and mastering on labels such as Nein Records, Logical Records, Tici Taci, Emerald & Doreen, Regith Rec, ESTHETIQUE or Beat is Murder, shared EP with artists like Freudenthal/Pardon Moi, Long Champs, Otheo, Demon Jee/Nozz, Volta Cab, Ujin Ray, Los Fugazzi, Ands Mega (FLXXX), Mr.Bc, Wolfstream, Javier Busto, Olsvangér, Leonor, Cabizbajo among other artists consolidated in the current scene electronics and have projects in common with producers like Cannibal Ink, Curses, Tronik Youth or Tkuz, to name some of them …Genre: New Wave, Nudisco, Space Disco, Slow Techno, Dark Sounds, Acid, Techno & Psychedelic Trance.

Between co-running Slow Motion Records and Wrong Era, alongside good companion Franz Scala, and creating music under various alliances, he's enjoyed numerous successes with a wide array of projects. With Slow Motion Records reaching its 10-year anniversary this year, the record label has build up an extensive catalog, cementing its status as a purveyor of quality Italian electronics.

It's a pleasure welcoming one of our longtime favourites, as the Italian virtuoso lays down a full-throttled ride through Italo-infused dance floor aesthetics, futuristic acid stylistics, energetic synth arrangements and uncompromising chug textures.

Ex-member of the Madrid-based band Fira Fem (Aloud, Subterfuge), with whom he played at some Spanish festivals like Sónar, Primavera Sound, FIB, SOS or BBK, Manu Cachero hides under the moniker JackWasFaster to explore his devotion for electronic music.

In his DJ sets, live acts and productions, the artist focuses on exploring the most synthetic face of Disco, as well as Post-Electronic, Dark Balearic Wave, Post-Punk heritage, or the rawest and the most underground Acid music.

Participant to the 2015 Madrid edition of the Red Bull Music Academy Bass Camp, he has issued releases and remixes for labels such as Rotten City, Nein, Factor City, Aylevs, Playground, Quantistic, Emerald & Doreen or Esthétique, both by himself or alongside Álvaro Cabana or Talktome (as Jacktome).

His tracks have been played and supported by Andrew Weatherall, Eskimo Twins, Timothy Clerkin, Mugwump, Sean Johnston, Javi Redondo, Curses, Massimiliano Pagliara, Bird of Paradise, Amevicious, Leonor, Álvaro Cabana, Club Bizarre, Gameboyz, or JP Soul.

The positive reception of his releases and a solid hardware-based live set got him to play at festivals such as Sónar, FIB, Brunch In The Park, Paraíso, Electrosplash or UVA, in addition to clubs such as Mondo (Madrid) and Razzmatazz (Barcelona).

During COVID times, he keeps on producing tracks for Inflect (UK) as well as Rotten City and working on a new project, named Indies With Microkorgs, showing his more industrial and experimental side.
