Better Days

Written and mostly recorded in a single day late last year, this song almost fell foul of the very defeatism that it is supposed to eschew... granted, the main reason for the length of the delay was beyond my control, but this recording is pretty much as it was the day the song was written. As such, there's plenty of rough edges and bum notes, but in an effort to retain the spontaneity of the original session I've left most of it as is. Hope you like it anyway!

When Bruce sent me this cool little riff with a ‘no rules’ brief, I was delighted.  At the time, I was reading an article about Trump's self-confessed  brilliance on a cognitive test which looked a little like the Alzheimer’s test my Mum took, but what do I know. I'm afraid my Mum failed but she was brilliant in other ways. Anyway, the two things got concatenated, Yaron added some big drums and ‘One Stable Genius’ came into being.
