Our September 2025 ‘Monthly Techno Mixshow’ features an hour-long mix from our co-founder, DBOT.

DBOT is a Phoenix-based techno artist with deep roots in the Chicago nightclub scene.  Starting his music career in 2008, DBOT began his journey playing house music at some of the most-respected venues in Downtown Chicago.  After almost a decade of holding down residencies throughout the city, he developed an affinity for techno and the grittier, stripped-down productions that catered more to the underground.  As his sound evolved, he co-founded Nine Lives in 2017 as a means to book talent aligned with his newfound aspirations as an artist.  After relocating to Phoenix in 2020, DBOT established himself as a key figure on the Techno Snobs DJ roster, playing dozens of high-profile shows since his arrival to The Valley.  Invigorated by this latest chapter of his career, DBOT is currently focused on making new music and expanding the Nine Lives and Techno Snobs brands.
