Santiago Palma Aka NEIK, artist originally from the city of Manizales - Colombia, with a versatility that allowed him to position himself as a DJ, VJ, and music producer with his 6 years of experience.

His intrepid line takes inspiration from different types of subgenres such as Industrial, Hardgroove, Hypnotic and experimental. Which are handled perfectly, allowing us to listen to dark, deep, forceful melodies full of rhythm.

In his musical career he's shared the booth with different national and international artists such as Crystal Geometry, Alessandro Nero, Saade, Teknical Difficulted, 3de3profundis3, Panick, Letus, Xhei, Abductor, Phyrgian, Anti, Metaph, Lourdes, Ro Duarte; Jacidorex, Lorenzo Papini, Kriz among many others.

He's also the head and founder of his digital movement THMM MANIZALES on YouTube, and founder of the INCUBUS MANIZALES academy in which support and culture is generated for the local scene, allowing all different types of music to be explored.

Our April 2025 ‘Monthly Techno Mixshow’ features a eighty-minute mix from Amayah (The Techno Barbie | Hard Techno Queen).

Hailing from Chicago, Amayah is rapidly emerging as a key figure in the global hard techno scene. Known for blending hyper-feminine aesthetics with relentless techno energy, she recently performed at the ARC Music Festival after-party alongside Nico Moreno. With standout sets in both Chicago and Los Angeles, Amayah has opened for major artists like Kloud and Basswell. Her signature pink wigs and high-energy performances are redefining hard techno, inspiring fans and setting her apart in a male-dominated industry.

Monthly Techno Mixshow - Amayah [April 2025]

Our June 2025 ‘Monthly Techno Mixshow’ features a one hour, fourteen minute mix from Josh Tong.  This closing set was recorded live for the Entropoic x Green Machine show at Smartbar in Chicago on 12/5/24.

Josh Tong is a classically trained artist and DJ specializing in textural, atmospheric, and ethereal techno. He takes a methodical and intentional approach to his sets reflecting the ways in which classical concertos are structured and fabricated. This curious approach illustrates the harmonious flow of energy between melodic elements and atmospheric tones through deeply layering tracks creating soundscapes rather than a singular sound. 

His thoughtful, philosophical approach to music guides his project, Entropic - a music-centered experience and platform that transcends genres and honors DJing as an artform always pushing the boundaries of sound and space. Josh has showcased local talent through Entropic at Chicago’s beloved Smartbar and continues to build community through these deliberate iterations. He is also a resident of Chicago’s techno collective and label, Format.

Monthly Techno Mixshow - Josh Tong [June 2025]

Our July 2025 ‘Monthly Techno Mixshow’ features a two-hour mix from Brandon De Carlo.  

From his live performances at some of NYC’s most legendary events through the 90’s, to his countless DJ gigs under the southwest stars through the 2000’s and beyond, Brandon’s journey spans decades of dedication to techno. A multi-instrument musician and grandson of Puerto Rican singing legend Tito Rodriguez (who lead the first wave of NYC nightlife in the 40’s-50’s), his rhythmic roots run generations deep and his dedication to his craft is not driven by fame, nor fortune, but by legacy. His classic releases on Kevin Saunderson’s KMS records, 611 Rec, Hijacked Records and his own Downside Up Recordings have gained him global attention and rotation from the who’s who of techno DJ’s, while his approach to delivering blistering dj sets continues to push the envelope of rhythmic reality, cleansing souls of those who bear witness.

Monthly Techno Mixshow - Brandon De Carlo [July 2025]

Our August 2025 ‘Monthly Techno Mixshow’ features a two-hour mix from Komprezzor.

Hailing from Mexico City and living in Chicago for over 2 decades, Komprezzor has become a synonym of hardware and modular-based techno live performance in the US.  His sounds and patterns are uncommon to the classically trained ear.  He performs based on a gut feeling, showing a heavily-influenced, Detroit-style improvisation where no time nor scale is right or wrong.  His performing technique, just like life itself, can be unpredictable as he arranges sounds landscapes and sequences on the fly, with precision timing.  Simply put, whenever you are present at one of his performances... expect the unexpected.  Komprezzor is currently working on his Hardware brand as his main operational umbrella, featuring a label, podcast, video channel, and interviews with other fellow hardware performers.

Our September 2025 ‘Monthly Techno Mixshow’ features an hour-long mix from our co-founder, DBOT.

DBOT is a Phoenix-based techno artist with deep roots in the Chicago nightclub scene.  Starting his music career in 2008, DBOT began his journey playing house music at some of the most-respected venues in Downtown Chicago.  After almost a decade of holding down residencies throughout the city, he developed an affinity for techno and the grittier, stripped-down productions that catered more to the underground.  As his sound evolved, he co-founded Nine Lives in 2017 as a means to book talent aligned with his newfound aspirations as an artist.  After relocating to Phoenix in 2020, DBOT established himself as a key figure on the Techno Snobs DJ roster, playing dozens of high-profile shows since his arrival to The Valley.  Invigorated by this latest chapter of his career, DBOT is currently focused on making new music and expanding the Nine Lives and Techno Snobs brands.

Monthly Techno Mixshow - DBOT [September 2025]

Fabrizio Rat has clear ideas. « My project is simple» he affirms. « Take a piano, the classic and romantic instrument par excellence, and project it into the hypnotic and powerful soundscape of techno music ». As a matter of fact, the 34 years old comes from a double background. He’s a classically trained pianist who practised improvisation and composed contemporary music, but since his teenage years he has produced electronic music, and spent hours and days with computer, synthesisers and drum machines.

« After many years of practice my musical path seemed to be planned. ». « The ‘traditional’ way of playing the piano had bored me. I knew too well the instrument, I couldn’t be creative any more with the codes and rules I had learnt. I was looking for a new way to approach the instrument, a balance between chance and control, similar to the feeling you get by working instinctively on synthesizers. I realized I had many things to learn from analogue electronic instruments, which represent more than just strictness and precision. These machines, far from being ‘perfect’, almost have feelings I believe, and they behave unexpectedly and unpredictably at times. I thought that by studying and trying to discover their secrets I might be able to push to new boundaries my ‘machine’ from the very beginning, the piano. »

Following two Eps, ‘’La Machina’’ and ‘’Technopiano’’, Fabrizio Rat releases his first album of hybrid techno, with an innovative sound palette. The Pianist combines the acoustic sounds and weird harmonics of his prepared piano with the acid loops of the TB-303 and the beats of the TR-909. « I’m much attracted by a certain type of techno, based on the purity of sound. This music can really approach abstraction, the immateriality of thought and ideas. » A track like “Aimard”, for example, is characteristic of his ambition. « It’s a sort of tunnel. It does not develop apart from a few ‘turning points’, in a similar way to lots of tracks by Jeff Mills, who has been a big inspiration to me for a long time. I feel attracted to his radical approach to techno and his taste of sonic exploration. Many tracks by him have an incredible character. As the records starts, you’re all of a sudden facing a new world. That’s exactly what I am most interested in, to find a strong vibe of a track, much more then constructing a form with evolution and surprises. »
“Gould”, just before “Aimard” in the record, has the same strength but plays with rhythmic elements in a more subtle way.
« It’s not really techno, but still hypnotic. The first version of it had lots of 909 in it, which has been little by little removed, following the advices of Arnaud Rebotini who co-produced the album and released it on his label. Arnaud pushed me towards a more radical and extreme direction, putting the piano on the forefront and simplifying the rhythmical patterns, to be more effective. This gives to the final result more impact I think. »

Unsurprisingly, it’s in front of the dancefloor, in clubs or festivals, that Fabrizio plays his live sets. With the right hand he plays repetitive rhythmical patterns while the left one handles the machines (effects, TB-303, TR-8) and manipulates the piano strings.
His goal is to reach « the trance, to project on the dancers the hypnotic state of my right hand moving on the piano ».
