Our August 2025 ‘Monthly Techno Mixshow’ features a two-hour mix from Komprezzor.

Hailing from Mexico City and living in Chicago for over 2 decades, Komprezzor has become a synonym of hardware and modular-based techno live performance in the US.  His sounds and patterns are uncommon to the classically trained ear.  He performs based on a gut feeling, showing a heavily-influenced, Detroit-style improvisation where no time nor scale is right or wrong.  His performing technique, just like life itself, can be unpredictable as he arranges sounds landscapes and sequences on the fly, with precision timing.  Simply put, whenever you are present at one of his performances... expect the unexpected.  Komprezzor is currently working on his Hardware brand as his main operational umbrella, featuring a label, podcast, video channel, and interviews with other fellow hardware performers.

As a producer, the German-based Tonino has successfully releases on labels like Beatfreak, Melodic Room, Of Us and his own label Solara. 
His releases are played and supported by the biggest artists of the scene such as Kevin De Vries, Korolova, Magdalena, David Guetta, Axel Haube and Paul van Dyk.
 
They regularly achieve considerable success in the Beatport charts. 
With his own and unique sound, he moves between melodic and progressive techno and manages to break through and redefine existing subgenre patterns. 

His passion for electronic music and the scene is reflected in his sound. 
He regularly plays international and national festivals and clubs like Traumhänger Festival (München), Zuckerbrot & Peitsche Festival (Regensburg), Kuddelmuddel Festival (Frankfurt), Luftgefühle Festival (Empfingen), Singularity Festival (Stuttgart), Ministry Of Sound (London), Tanzhaus West (Frankfurt), Birgit (Berlin), Mazzo (Warsaw), Fundbureau (Hamburg) or Fridas Pier (Stuttgart). 

On stage, Tonino is a routine performer who always manages to infect people with his energy and has already built up a large and loyal community as a result.

He shares the stage and works with renowned artists such as Rafael Cerato, Extrawelt, Cosmic Boys, Teenage Mutants, Matchy and many more. With a lot of heart and emotion he brings his years of experience, as well as his own productions into his sets.

Crafting infectious rhythms with vibrant hats and dishing out delicious basslines, Jėck is an emerging producer and DJ hailing from Detroit, who possesses a deep passion for dark, rhythmic sounds. His style draws inspiration from a range of 90s techno and house subgenres while infusing a contemporary techno vibe. Captivated by driving beats and mesmerizing grooves, Jėck energizes dancefloors with his electrifying tracks.

Carlos Raúl (aka Kauwy /kaʊ wEE/) began his electronic music foundation with Chicago house and techno in the late '90s. Based in Phoenix, AZ, he is a resident with Techno Snobs (@technosnobsaz) and is known for his diverse selection and deep, rolling groove-infused sets.

Marking his debut release on Undertone Records (DC) [UT018], Carlos crafted a hypnotic and rhythmically entrancing remix for TonalTheory, putting his unique spin on the original track. His interpretation blends deep, rolling rhythms with intricate textures, staying true to his signature style while offering a fresh perspective, all while preserving the raw energy and drive of the original mix. With this release, Carlos has further cemented his place in the techno scene, performing across Europe, the UK, Australia, Colombia, and his native Mexico, sharing the bill with renowned artists like Cleric, Tensal, Deraout, Dimi Angelis, Kangding Ray, Lindsey Herbert, Truncate, DJ Hyperactive, and more.

DELA is a boundary-pushing DJ & Producer whose sound navigates the darker, hypnotic depths of techno. With a dedication to creating immersive dance floor experiences, she brings an energy that bridges raw underground beats with innovative soundscapes.
Beyond the decks, DELA is a passionate advocate for diversity in electronic music, actively working to uplift femme talent and foster an inclusive, empowered community. Their sets are not just performances—they are invitations to connect, move, and feel the transformative power of music.
With a vision rooted in artistry and equality, DELA is redefining what it means to lead on and off the dance floor.

Shanti is a Chicago-based DJ who explores philosophical themes of existential angst and ambiguity through surreal, foreboding, apocalyptic techno, angsty EBM, and squishy acid soundscapes. Her sets weave a story of the simultaneous despair and yearning that are intertwined with the human condition.

Shanti also hosts a monthly radio show "Liminal Radio" on WIIT 88.9FM Chicago every second Monday of the month, 1-3pm CST featuring inspiring guest DJs.
