Heavily supported by the likes of Kasra, Shy FX, dBridge, Mark Pritchard, Rockwell, DJ Die and many more, Sam Binga talks us through this dance floor fire release in his own words…

"I guess the main idea behind 'AYO!' was to make something crunchy and lo-fi, but still heavy enough for the
floor. I think I was listening to a lot of Timbaland beats around the time I built this one - I've always loved the
massive kicks and weird squashy snares he uses, so I wanted to try something along those lines at DnB speed.
The rest seemed to flow quite organically and Redders brought his usual charisma and animation to the vocal.
Like the man says, everyone knows he mashes up the show…
'Freezy' is a bit more straightforward - something like a tribute to classic bouncing-subs jungle, but with added
southern crunk vibes and a chunky halfstep beat. If I remember rightly, there's a gun being cocked over each
snare, and I brought the hardware sampler out to get the pads and synths sounding suitably 1995."

Meanwhile, in Hour 2 it's Perera Elsewhere and she tells us;
'Elsewhere can be a really moody & abstract place of musical refuge but there is definitely also a dancefloor there...this mix tries to incorporate all of that.  In the end, the darkness of the dancefloor are a way of escaping the illusion that we call reality.  "I wanted to take the opportunity to do something different for this Solid Steel mix and I decided to approach the mix as if I was 'back from a good night out' and winding down with some late night weird selections from my vinyl collection. The records were all pulled from my shelves on spur of the moment decisions - trying to dig out as many rare or vinyl-only riddims as I could along the journey. The result is a little self-indulgent and perhaps a bit random in places - but it's something I'd enjoy listening to myself - so at least it's honest.."
