About:
Salaam Kalyubia is a young producer hailing from Paris. His interests lead him to the more surreal, psychedelic and spiritual sides of music, while assuming a clear tropism towards the Orient. In his mixtapes, he strives to render emotional soundscapes, to reimagine memories through sounds or to create dreamy soundtracks for the movies he'd like to see.

This one was born with the idea of a late summer afternoon, when the sense of an ending creates a particularly nostalgic atmosphere, the passing of a lost paradise.

Ajnkana is the alias of Charles Lawrence. Born in 1985 in Cornwall he First got into electronic music and production back in the late nineties. Discovering dub techno in 2004 has led to a deep appreciation of the genre. Now having Released on both Greyscale and Cold Tear records he plans to continue exploring the sound and possibilities for creative development in Dub Techno.

Kettenreaktion is a techno artist from Leipzig, Germany. Born and raised in a smaller town in the east of Germany, with very little influence of electronic music, he accidentally moved to Berlin, where he found his love for electronic sounds, which captivated him deeper and deeper. Until today you can hear the typical sound of the German capital and its club culture in his productions and sets. Daniel combines elements from a wide variety of genres, such as dub techno, minimal and techno with field recordings, which he often brings back from his expeditions to abandoned places. These trips always relax and inspire him anew and promote the sounds from the old dilapidated walls into his tracks.

I've been thinking about this artist mix for a while and settled down to it following the release of Dimensional Space.    This mix follows an interpretation of more 'beatless & ambient' soundscapes, "Ice Stars Sunlight" recorded about 5 years ago using CDj's.

To say i am massively passionate about music is an understatement, I've been addicted to alternative music from a very early age, leistering to early electro around the age of 7. My first introduction to IDM was by Boards of Canada and Aphex Twin, then later progressed to fall in love with ambient and dub techno. I started creating my own sets and playing live in 2007. When I put a set together, I don't just chuck any old tunes in, I have to absolutely love each track. This can mean only producing a set when I have enough tracks, and to be fair makes the set that bit better, if not forever to make. IMO especially with ambient techno I like to mix FAST playing each track not too long, my Techno / Minimal Techno sets are even faster, packing more variety in to each set...IMO subtlety is the key...
