Cantor, compositor pernambucano, lança seu primeiro disco em 2013 o que lhe rendeu shows em grandes festivais como: Festival de Inverno de Garanhuns, Abril Pro Rock, Festival Pernambuco Nação Cultural. Em 2014 ganha o troféu Cata-vento da Rádio Cultura Brasil. 

It is as bewildering as it is unfair to consider only some of the regions of a country as immense and culturally diverse as Brazil when we think about its immense musical heritage. A common trend that ends up distancing us from a vast universe that lies far beyond the usual southeastern soundscapes and deprives us of delicious surprises like the ones a scene as lively as Belém do Pará's has in store for us. The same that shaped Bernardo Pinheiro's talents and made him one of the most daring and versatile artists of his generation.
Growing up in a home filled with the essential stimuli to the maturing process that turns art lovers into makers, his talents ended up taking shape through practically all the aspects that make up the creation and dissemination of our rich musicality: selector, producer, promoter, protector, or whatever else was needed to fulfill those tasks. And each one of the expressions of his artistic will and vision are manifested in some way all over a career that extends itself for more than two decades, across Brazil and throughout the world.
From Baile Tropical, a project he created alongside Patricktør4 to promote the same Brazilian aural plurality that feeds his repertoire, to his interventions in classics by fellow countrymen such as Fafá de Belém, Leila Pinheiro and other renowned interpreters of Brazilian music such as Djavan, Emílio Santiago, Marcos Valle and Gonzaguinha, the main urge remains is the same: to work this opulent raw material in every possible way. This is what orients him through the rhythmic and geographic immensity of the country to transcend its borders, in an itinerancy that is guided by the mining of musical gems and driven by the desire to share his findings with the public.
This trajectory not only includes visits to the booths of Brasilian venues that are renowned bastions of revelry such as D-Edge, Trackers and Heavy House, as well as Santa Catarina's Don't Tell Mama, it also counts memorable performances at the stages of festivals as diverse as Se Rasgum and Vai Tapajós back in his homeland, Rec Beat in Recife, Mareh Music and Marisco in São Paulo, all the to Virada dos Lençóis in Maranhão and Rio, relentlessly criss-crossing the country. Moreover, this itinerary includes a variety of spaces such as legendary studios and record stores or any other of those special locations where our communion with music takes place, under any pretext or format.
This same drive is transferred unbroken to exquisite musical pieces that comprise a solid collection of authorial releases, gracing the catalog of labels such as Barefoot Beats, Cocada Music, Bongo Synth, Kampana Records, Too Slow to Disco, All About Disco and Midnight Riot. Each of these show his inventiveness shining brightly as he transposes from one universe to another, with both precision and devotion, the full notion of the dance floor and the vivid experience of dance ingrained in a career that has traveled the world while mutating through a range of genres that encompasses Drum & Bass to Disco and House and pretty much everything in between.
A journey that is quite eclectic , never erratic, for its steered by the type of artistic personality and maturity forged along a route that is itself punctuated by expressive moments including all kinds of creative intervention and festive invention: reenergizing classics and reinvigorating traditions, moving bodies and conjuring emotions, all done on and for the dancefloor.

 O cantor paraense Olivar Barreto é apaixonado por música brasileira desde a infância. Estudou canto popular na Pró-Arte, no Rio de Janeiro, onde morou entre 1988 e 1993. O artista tem no seu trabalho, influência de samba bossa-nova do tropicalismo e do jazz. Durante o período que morou em Paris de 2003 a 2009 o intérprete entre outros trabalhos, fez parte de show comemorativo ao Ano do Brasil na França, em 2005. Seu primeiro CD, Olivar Barreto, de 2002, é um caledoscópio de belas impressões da música paraense, reunidas em 11 canções. Olivar tem participações em discos de outros artistas paraenses, como Maria Lídia, Felipe Cordeiro, Delcley Machado e Almino Henrique. 
Tem várias premiações em festivais, com destaque aos primeiros lugares no Festival de Ourém (PA) em 1995 e 2010; primeiro lugar no festival de Porto Nacional (TO) em 1996; melhor intérprete do Festival de Alegre- ES (1999); melhor intérprete Festival de Marabá, em (1999);  melhor intérprete do festival “Velho Chico Beat” em Bom Jesus  da Lapa- BA, (Nov 2012); venceu o Fecan Oeste em Santarém (2012); Melhor intérprete e 1º lugar além de melhor arranjo no V festival de Música Paraense 2013, promovido pela RBA, com música de Ziza Padilha e Dudu Neves.
O artista mescla um trabalho de revelar novos compositores com incursões ao repertório dos grandes compositores da música popular.

 Olivar lançou seu segundo CD, Esse Ruy é Minha Rua,  em junho de 2011,  no qual mergulhou na obra do poeta, escritor e letrista paraense Ruy Barata (1920-90). O disco reúne 13 músicas de Ruy Barata compostas com Edyr Proença, Galdino Penna, Saint-Clair du Baixo, Paes Loureiro, Kzam Gama e De Campos Ribeiro, além de parcerias com seu filho Paulo André Barata, com quem Ruy começou a compor, em 1967. Nove das canções gravadas eram inéditas em disco, contribuindo desta maneira para que o público tenha acesso a uma parcela até então desconhecida da obra de Ruy Barata. 
O intérprete está em fase de produção do seu terceiro CD com canções inéditas.
 


As a sought-after producer, keyboardist, multi-instrumentalist and DJ, for the past 20 years, Mauricio Fleury from São Paulo, Brazil, has been making music happen across various styles. His collaborations in concerts and recordings cover almost the entire spectrum of what is most interesting in contemporary Brazilian music and its fusion with hip-hop, jazz, rock or MPB, and has already performed and/or recorded with artists such as Gal Costa, João Donato, Bixiga 70, Marlena Shaw, Orlando Julius, Tony Allen, Ben Lamar Gay, Marcos Valle, Quantic, Instituto Mexicano de Sonido y Toy Selectah, amongst others. 



Now based in Berlin, he has been playing vinyl DJ sets that connect those influences, playing tropical music and funk from different periods and locations: from Brazilian Boogie to West African Disco to Leftfield Pysch to Hypnotic grooves and beyond. His DJ sets have already thrilled audiences at festivals such as Sónar Barcelona, Dekmantel São Paulo, Sónar São Paulo, Coquetel Molotov Recife and in clubs in Berlin, Paris, Lisbon and New York.
