For their inaugural release, London-based Vysyon presents Mercuri: an enchanting EP of enigmatic techno featuring work by Swiss artists Varuna & Mateo Hurtado.

Having developed their brand of abyssal club music through releases on Amenthia Recordings & their own imprint A Walking Contradiction, Varuna dive into the void on ‘Remote Pulsar’. Driven by a disorientating polyrhythm cloaked in opaque atmospherics, the trio’s otherworldly approach to sound design is on full display. By contrast, the pounding 4/4 kick & propulsive acid bass of ‘Uvez Echos’ entrance the listener into a state of dancefloor reverie.

Mateo Hurtado casts his own unique magic over the flip, showcasing his archetypal mystic sound established via an album on Annulled music & remixes for Space Drum Meditation. The mesmerising flute melody of ‘An Invisible Fire, Working In Secret’ casts a spell of hypnosis, while the flowing, amorphous pads & twisted bass of ‘The Eternal Mirror’ conjure visions of worlds unknown.

Mateo Hurtado - An Invisible Fire, Working In Secret [vysyon]

This live set was recorded in 2025 at The Garden, near Ponte de Lima, in the north of Portugal. I used eurorack modules such as the Moog Mother-32, DFAM, Noise Engineering and others to create a unique and unrepeatable techno performance. I also used the Instruō Scíon connected to a plant, generating organic impulses that shaped evolving soundscapes in combination with reverb.

Asllan is a music project inspired by C.S. Lewis's novel The Chronicles of Narnia, written like a book while witnessing events that occurred in the present day from the perspective of the lion (Aslan). It is produced by Korean producer Soolee.

The first full-length album, The Great Flood, which is expressed with the unique primitive sound and groove established through previous albums. Lists primal emotions to compose the entire story and invites the listener's imagination to the meaning contained within.

Portuguese artist NNLeaN explores the emotional and hypnotic dimensions of techno through modular synthesis and bioelectrical signals from plants and living organisms. Based in Leiria, his work connects the raw pulse of nature with the mechanical precision of analog gear.

Using custom setups with Moog Mother-32, DFAM, and wavetable synthesis, NNLeaN captures the subtle electrical activity of plants in real-time and translates it into evolving, rhythmic techno soundscapes. Tuned to 432Hz and driven by deep 128-136BPM grooves, his music blends textures from the organic and the synthetic — creating a ritualistic, immersive experience.

Every track is a dialogue between life and machine, built on intuition, voltage, and emotion. Modular techno not just to listen, but to feel.
