Here's the cleanest recording of my set from the Space Dog and Hawkes and Reed "Horns and Halos" party on February 11, 2023 in Greenfield, MA. Recorded before the actual show. I had a blast playing at this show and playing breaks, it's one of the most fun genres to spin.

One A aka Gehno Aviance is a DJ and producer with deep, deep roots in America's electronic music scene. Born in Spain, Gehno began DJing in 1992, earning recognition at raves and events including Ultraworld (Baltimore), Buzz (Washington DC) and played an instrumental role in the Snowball Collective, "orchestrating some of the most prominent underground events" in the DC area. Gehno transitioned to San Francisco in 1998, and more recently to the country of their birth, Spain. We're delighted to spotlight this multifaceted and fascinating artist for this issue's cover mix.

Boston staple Nick Minieri delivers two tracks that showcase Minieri’s love of swinging and sampling on the “L8 Nite Keys” EP. Originating as a snowy jam session with fellow Bostonian GMGN on hardware synths, the title track was chopped, re-sequenced and re-imagined by Minieri multiple times. The best attempt presented here, “L8 Nite Keys” explores the mature side of house with soulful vocal chops cut in UK Garage fashion. On the flip, Minieri combines dub-delayed synths, a swinging arpeggio, and a timeless Korg M1 bass patch to form “Pixel Perfect.” Crafted in the cold of winter, its carefree tropes pull you straight into spring, summer, and beyond.

No Fun Intended presents new versions of Swedish producer Acke's "Way Of Rave." Previously a streaming-only release, Way Of Rave is finally available to DJs to purchase worldwide!

Acke is a Swedish electronic music artist known for his work across a variety of genres, including rave, lofi, house, ambient, synthwave, acid techno, chiptune, vaporwave, drum and bass, and breakbeat. His music blends elements of retro and contemporary electronic sounds, often characterized by nostalgic influences alongside modern production techniques. Acke has contributed to several projects, including CPU Suckers and Ambra Red, and has collaborated with iconic Swedish artist Dr. Alban. He also contributed to the soundtrack of the Hollywood movie Bleed, produced by Full Moon Pictures. Additionally, his productions have been featured on Keoki's mix album Kill The DJ, further solidifying his presence in the electronic music scene.

The enigmatic Swedish duo @Elfenberg have gradually shed their cloak of mysteriousness to become familiar faces on the international scene. Since the birth of the act in 2017, Viktor and Henrik’s tunes have established them on both charts and festival lineups across the globe. The Swedes have also become key members of Oliver Koletzki’s Stil Vor Talent family since releasing their first EP with them early 2018. Elfenberg can not be defined by any genre but by a steady groove created in a primitive soundscape. A sound that embodies constant motion, spiralling into whatever creative vision the duo have in mind. In September 2019, they became proud owners of their own imprint, ‘Trampoliner’.

In regard to this special edit, they had the following to share with us...

'We've known Stankfejs (@klovvik), or Viktor (yes all swedes are named Viktor) since way back. We met musically through disco and started mixing together. We threw a series of parties as well, called; Late Night Groove. When we got our first booking requests, our beloved Stankfejs started handling those. Later on, Viktor moved abroad, and we continued on our end. We still have our group chat going, where we send music to each other, ideas, bits and sounds. This time Viktor came across a sequence from a Bollywood film called Thanedaar. We were completely stunned with the production and the number of people dancing flawlessly throughout the scene, pure joy for the eye. We agreed the song could use a slight push, so we sprinkled some magic over it and put a cherry on top, making it dancefloor-ready, so to speak. We find Bappi Lahiri and the movie brilliant and are grateful for Stankfejs encouraging discovery.
