Sabotage

The first version of this song was composed in the early 2000s using Cakewalk software and an Emu sampler (E4x Turbo) with 128 Mb of RAM -- an absurd amount of memory for a sampler at that time (today even my smartphone has much more). 

It was inspired by David Bowie's Earthling album and the early Nine Inch Nails records.

The name is a play on "Gen X" and suggests that robots (cover image)will be the next (nXt) generation.

The song is a mix of electronic music and rock/metal, with much more guitars than the previous version.

A few months after the release of the video, I thought the song deserved an updated version and here it is.

This is a collaboration with the super talented kanadian keyboarder Jordan Davis a.k.a. tempoTronix, whom I could win for a collaboration on an older track of mine, where he took over all keyboard parts. As we both are prog metal enthusiasts we have left our traces from this genre in this track.
Please listen and judge yourself, I hope you´ll have a lot of fun listening to this great piece.
