For our third chapter in the Orbita mix series we are pleased to present this gem by Martyn Päsch.

Citty is live modular techno project founded by Martin Vodicka. The project created to explore the sound possibilities of our times, to create impressions of non-existent worlds by using unheard atmospheres and modulation of noise. The variety of sounds Citty composes goes from dark ambient atmospheres and drones to hypnotic techno including not straight rhythms and patterns combined with distortions.  Laima Adelaide is a Stuttgart-based artist and label founder of Predawn Records together with Nils Edte. She studied classical composition at the University of Music and the Performing Arts in Stuttgart. Her sound signature is unique, both minimalist and pure, with impeccable sound design and an aesthetic close to the Bauhaus school. Through subtle frequencies and the use of poly-rhythms, Laima Adelaide proposes a vision of a macroscopic or molecular world, where atoms collide and the space between electronic music and natural space dissipates. 

Welcome to this hour of perfect mix, between deep techno, organic and hypnotic, just close your eyes and let yourself be caught in a beneficial and protective darkness.

I sit by a dancing choir,
of flames that burn in towers.
there are cabins and woodlands,
and pastel and faded flowers.

there is a strange maniac,
that sits on a bucket by the trees.
he sings songs between puffs of smokes,
about horror stories, fates and dreams.

I listen to the chilling crackle,
that lights my eyes in mini-fires.
and hum to the beat of the ukulele,
on the grass path with tracks of tires.

whistle of the ancient winds,
that tell stories of bears and poisonous pears.
the campfire singes down; cool and crisp,
and the maniac disappears.
